I was laughing my butt off when I asked HRO about their stock of 7300s dx10s etc. Told me they had none in stock and were only shipping...as he stood in front of a stack of 7300s lol. Empty boxes maybe? Why come to a convention without radios to sell in person? I went over to R&L and they had tonsss

The most popular radio that everyone wants....but we don't have any and didn't bring any because we just didn't want to sell them I guess.
Love it. Although my mother called and she’s coming over to Jim’s house to wash 🧼 his mouth out with soap. FYI… there were 4x’s the number of bleeps as compared to one Ham Radio Clubhouse show (every Tuesday night here on YT at 7pmCST)

My D7 still works perfectly, and my F6 has 3 bands, and DC to daylight receive including SSB. And see how old they are! But I'll stick with them.

I asked vendors what they paid for their tables and the average was 3K to 6K and the best hamvention could afford for us was COW BARN with no air!

@@HamRadioDX I bought it online from hro, I hesitated a lot seeing that icom and Kendwood released new radios with usbc, but in my area many have yaesu and alinco, nobody uses dstar

DX had plenty of them, and $50 off, since it was more than $500.

@@ChristisKing7749 How so? I asked about the 500 on Friday afternoon and was offered a $599 price. At that time they had 24 on site, and even if they ran out, they committed to honoring the price if shipped. I am not dissing any vendor - but I saw no issue with DX’s offer.
