Hi Sabrina, thanks for watching the video and reaching out. Yes, we had a rapid PCR test conducted in Chile a day or two before our return flight. We had to show proof of that test at the airport.
Hey question, so im having the same problem you had with validating my partner's and I vaccines for the past 2-3 weeks. I 1st sent screenshots and then a week later they got rejected so i sent the pdf file of our vaccines and we've been waiting for them to reply for the last 1 and a half weeks and still no answer. We fly in 5 days to Chile and i dont think I'll be hearing from them to be honest so it looks like we wont be able to validate our vaccines. So we r just gona take all the proof we have of our vaccines printed out with us. So do you think we'll have problems entering chile? I mean we've been trying to do the validation for over 3 weeks and is them not getting back to us so nothing we can do? But what do you think? I myself am from chile originally but lived in New Zealand for the past 17yrs and last time i went to chile was 8yrs ago. My partners 1st time going to Chile so hopefully we dont get any problems with this whole vaccine validation situation
Hi Ignacio G, thanks for watching the video and reaching out. Chile has been very strict with their Covid policy and I have heard of people not being allowed entry if they arrive without the proper documents. I recall having to show the required documents at the departing flight terminal too before I could board the flight. You could try reaching out to the NZ embassy in Chile or even the chilean embassy in NZ. Sorry for not having more positive news but best of luck! I hope it works out and you have an amazing trip!
I really enjoyed your video. 🤩 ⭐️
