  • Today I am replacing the window tracks and felt that go inside the door of my 1975 Ford Bronco. I bought this kit to replace everything from Toms Offroad:
    tomsoffroad.com/parts/66-77-f...
This is the 18-piece door felt kit. It has all the felt and tracks that go inside the door to keep the window in place when it goes up and down. If your window is having trouble going up and down, start with this kit.
I forgot to buy all the screws and bolts, so I had to buy this kit separate:
    tomsoffroad.com/parts/66-77-f...
The installation was pretty easy, just took time to install all the door felt and tracks for the window. My early Bronco isn't a show Bronco, but installing this kit makes the feel a lot better, and now my windows don't leak in the rain, haha!

Doing a complete main window and vent window refurbish. These videos really help me plan the process and I appreciate all the effort you put into these videos. Biggest difficulty so far was removing the vent windows from their frames (original glass). As it worked out...Torch and a little heat is your friend. Thanks for all you do .

Awesome! Happy to help. Yeah pulling the vent window is tricky

Glad you were able to get them fixed. What a pain. My doors could probably use the same treatment, but I just don't really ever put the doors on:)

Tip on attaching window track to glass. Spray Windex on the glass and the glass track adhesive. This made it slide on much easier. Oh and one of my brackets broke off likes your did too but not till I was all done and was rolling the window down. had to take it all back apart. Tom's was nice enough to send me a free replacement.

Nice video. I think they should include the screws for a complete kit

They sell a whole nut and bolt and screw kit separately....seems odd

Well, most people doing the install wouldn’t need the screws because their original ones would work. But, agreed it is nice to have

Yeah kind of a pain to put everything together but it is nice when finished, I went with soft doors on my bronco ( roadster look)

I did a total restore and there is NOTHING easy about the doors. And secondly, Ace Hardware is your best friend......
