When he stop Jerry press..thats the most amazing thing bcoz he got caught in very bad position and Jerry press with whole body but still got stop by Devon.
1. When he beat jerry. This may not be a huge match historically, but the intensity is the best. For me that was an incredible match, when Devon caught Jerry’s press in round 3 and managed to beat him in an awful position is still amazing to me. He never went outside with Jerry even once. 2. When Devon beat John in 2008. Much more historical moment, what Devon did that day, no man in history has ever done before. He CREAMED John. I believe nobody on planet earth could have beaten Devon on that day over all time. 3. When he beat Pushkar It was that day that he officially became number 1 right and left handed on the planet. i liked the arm wars match against michael todd aswell. the round where was hitting into MT´s kingsmove till he felt the crack and looked at him "oh yeah!" and started smiling. was super funny to me.
For me his comeback to the sport against monster was just amazing, i started watching devons matches that got me intrested in armrestling then i seen moster beat him then i watched alot of monsters matchs, seein devon pull every1 in random places an mess with juji an then monster wanting to be number1 an devon getting the shot after transforming an just doin what seemed like the impossiable at the time made me realize that you can never count devon out ever an thats what makes him such a thrill to watch

Great picks! I think his performance at the 2004 Super Star Showdown was a big moment for him (though not necessarily a big moment in armwrestling history). It was the first time that many Americans really took notice of him, and he had wins over Marcio and had an AMAZING hook match with John in the finals. Sure, John chose to go there, but he was very surprised by how hard he had to work to beat him.
I agree ! No wonder my favorite match of his is a loss (😂) but joking aside he gave Brzenk (who was good shape - unlike during their 2008 match )almost all he could handle. 2004 Super Star Showdown for me as well. 2012 Pushkar LH second Third I would say winning 2016 LH WAL despite undergoing surgery the same year? In an interview Taras said he was able to win when he realised that he couldnt pin Devon sideways to the pin pad, but instead aim for the back of the table. Once he applied that strategy instead thats when he won the last 3.
He wasn't able to pin Devon with his elbow on the pad, so he started to pull it off the back. You just can't respect uncalled elbow fouls and huge amounts of PEDs - nothing honourable about it.
Yeah. They were very close. Would like to see different versions of that match. Like to seen the strap and/or hook those last couple matches. Taras had 1 way to win, he adjusted and executed.

Devon won so many matches by letting opponents think they still got this round at the moment he was allready comfortable he won it. He never went for pin in early rounds, the only problem he had in his whole career basically, was stopping the hit. If he could do that, he would win. But again, if he would stop it, he would go into position where he would let opponent think I still have this round. And than, trough his insane endurance, he would burn opponents in early rounds and having better endurance win later. Maybe the best approach for him would be if he stopped you, and stopped you in somewhat not an inch from the pin position, you better let this round to him and save energy for another good hit. Match with John was one sided, with Pushkar it was left arm. Taras beat him. Match vs Michael Todd 2011, when Devon showed us how to deal with undertablers is my favorite.
Taras beat him in 2006, he wasn't prime yet imo, prime Devon 2007-2012. You can tell prime because in 2006 he and Bath were 3-3, in 2007 6 months later it was 6-0 Devon.

He said his prime was arround 33-34. That makes sense because imo he was the best from 2008 to 2012. Still can beat Michael I think. Will see.
The complaining Devon did the first round with Pushkar was that he started early its pretty clear if you watch it slow Pushkar went before time.before the ref let go Pushkar was already going so yeah.
I've heard the story, not sure if from Devon himself or anyone else, that Andre's team made fun of Devon's supposedly skinny arms. Well, unfortunately judged too hastily.

How can that be your favorite moment when the "where ya going buddyyy" moment exists??
Agreed
@Jakhveladze did you even watch the video?
@Jakhveladze what on earth are you talking about, my comment was mainly a joke and it makes perfect sense in the context of his video
@@SZ-ZS- well the video is about "best Devon larrat moments" and that match that you are referring to, is Jhon vs michael Todd...
@@martin4077 you are really slow aren't you
And the good thing is that Devon is not that old yet and you can armwrestle for a very long time and be very good at it.
But Devon had some "issues" in his arms and also probably is getting physically "older" quicker than others like Michael (who probably is in his strongest moment?). He said his prime was arround 33-34. That makes sense because imo he was the best from 2008 to 2012.
Still can beat Michael I think. Will see.
@@betofernandez5524 I guess we will have to see about that. But i hope that Devon can continue to armwrestle for a long time.
When he pulled Ivakin I was in pre school.
The complaining Devon did the first round with Pushkar was that he started early its pretty clear if you watch it slow Pushkar went before time.before the ref let go Pushkar was already going so yeah.
And he made history against Michael Todd today as well ... 🥞🤣
This gives me hope against Michael but Michael has crazy endurance too
:)))
I agree. He dont have to win. But he looking to way to do it.
I've heard the story, not sure if from Devon himself or anyone else, that Andre's team made fun of Devon's supposedly skinny arms. Well, unfortunately judged too hastily.
aussi fort que ses résultats , il faut mettre en avant son travail promotionnel , il a été un porte parole dans le monde entier du bras de fer ,
Prudnik will be back. Congrats Devon, top heavyweight in the world.
