as someone who also moved into a city away from home, i feel you so much! it feels terrifying and heavy on the heart, but also fulfilling as someone who always seeks growth. i cried with you on the last part of this vlog, bianca! but i am so proud of you for reaching this far and for continuously growing! i remembered how much i cried after saying my goodbyes when my fam also had to go home tapos everything is slowy sinking in because of silence of the room. i wish i could hug you right now! you got this, bianca! we got this! slay ✨🤟🏻
When I lived alone in my 20s I always had music playing in the apartment or the TV on for background sounds. The psychological effect of that is really good to help you not feel so alone in your place.

I moved out and have been living alone for 2 years and a half now. I was crying on my first day too. I feel you but it's good for your growth. It will feel heavy and homesick for a couple of months but it's a best decision. Still made me cry when watching your video. I missed my family too. YOU CAN DO IT. Sending you hugs!!!

I have been living away from family for more than 10 yrs bec of school and work and each time I leave home after a vacation or when family leave after a visit, I get really sad and feel so homesick. Its even worse when you have to go to work. After so many years i thought id get used to it. But we need to leave our comfort zones to reach our dreams ❤

Awww don’t cry! I moved to New York city in 2019 and this vlog reminds me so much of my first couple of weeks here. I even had that same exact blue NYC hat and I wore it every single day. Looking back, I remember how terrified I was to make such a big move and be away from my family. As of today, I feel like it’s one of the best decision I ever could’ve made for my life - I don’t think i can ever live anywhere else now. You will get settled and everything will start to feel better for you.

Girl you better learn to cook though 😅 eating out gets crazy expensive after awhile. The grocery stores can be a bit expensive too. If you don’t have a Trader Joe’s in your area, I highly recommend ordering on Amazon fresh for delivery. Also, IKEA delivers too!

Hey, it's going to be ok. You'll meet a lot of new and interesting people in NYC. Bryant Park is a great place. I love playing ping pong there with the locals! Now they are converting it into the winter village! My daughter is up there now making music (LEANYS on all platforms). She's staying in the LES (Lower East Side) by the East Village. Great area.

Wait? U can go to ikea also on the train. Than a few min walking. Even a bus gets u there. There used to be another ikea in the city but I believe it closed down after 1-2 years.
