Hello, How do you tell the software or machine where you want to place the image? If i set a wood piece in the machine and have an image on my screen can i tell the machine my starting point or does the machine tell me because of the placement on the software.
I have a design that I did in AutoCAD that is solid infilled that I want to import into RDWorks so that I can Engrave the full infill, I have it set to scan but when I import the dxf it only shows the perimeter how to I get the full infilled design to engrave? again It is set to scan.
hi i noticed your control panel is the same as on the machine ive just bought. i have my machine set up and ready to go but the instructions i have to connect it to the computer show a totally different control panel. i have the pirahna 5060. do you know is this machine is just plug and play with the usb cable or do i need to set it up with an ethernet cable and if so how do i get the pc to recognise the machine? thank you for any help you can give me Maggi
Hello! Is there any way to use inches instead of millimeters with this software? I heard in this tutorial that there wasn't, but not sure if any latest releases fixed that.
Question. If I want to draw rectangle with a circle in center and only scan / engrave the area around the circle to the boundaries of the rectangle but not in the circle. How would I do this.
Help me please. Wile engraving, my laser´s head is swinging all way left and right just to engrave a little draw in the middle. Something related with acceleration...but I cant increase speed. What user setting do you use? Thanks.
@@rere-hv9jg a guy send me the file with original vendor and user settings. Saved me. Now thats ok. The only problem I have is that the engrave (scan) seems like fish scame...not smooth. :(
Hi, great Video! I am having the worst luck trying to get the laser to fire while running it’s rd file. Does the motions good, but beam doesn’t start. Button is down and the test button does fire the beam. Please help (-:

what did you put the model as in rd works?
Do you know why I am not able to change work area in page setting?. It always comes back to 380mm as default for both x and y axis.

Under Config(s), File Para Setting, DXF Unit change to INCH then under unit type change to inch

It depends on the type of file you import. Bitmap files can only scan. If the file type is in CAD format (dxf) you can cut.

Probably not. RDWorks only works with Ruida controllers. Most 40W lasers use a Leetro controller.

Yes... this version supports standard measurements.
Metric measurement is standard measurement. Very few countries still use archaic imperial measurement (feet & inches)

I can't remember. I hit download and it was always something else that downloaded. Screwed my PC up.
