Max, this has to be one of your best videos ever! I have a lot of problems and many legitimate fears. Mostly health related. But for almost an hour you make me feel better! Back when the two people who loved me the most and unconditionally were still alive. Yes, you're right. Caring for someone can have such an impact. I don’t have any triggers to rank today (the brushes were awesome though, I love your other face brushing video too) so I’m just going to respond to the video. I’m also gonna put this disclaimer here specifically for Max: you do not need to read this. I think you responded to my last comment at like 1 in the morning, and I will feel terrible if I know you are taking time to read my nonsense instead of sleeping. Writing these is therapeutic for me and part of my ASMR ritual at this point. I am here to support you guys regardless of whether or not you want to read my extremely long youtube comments, and I also won’t take it personally if you don’t respond. Ok, on with the really long comment. I connected with so much of what you said. Since I moved away from my parents and siblings, I find myself often lonely and not feeling good enough. I moved across the country to try to be a singer-songwriter-producer (like Parker, but he’s much better than me.) My parents don’t know that’s why I moved. But I get in my head constantly that I’m not a good enough singer, I’m not a good enough writer, I’m not a good enough producer, and I struggle to make progress because I’m not practicing enough. I see all these incredible artists with degrees in music or who’ve studied an instrument for 10+ years, and I worry I won’t be able to pursue my dream in time because I don’t have those skills. At the same time, I’m trying to learn how to be an adult: cook healthy food, clean, pay rent, make friends in a new place, etc. and it just feels like everyone knows so much more than me and I’ll always be a joke to people. I specifically want to make a habit of exercising, because it isn’t something my family really does, but I want to. I was a runner in middle school-high school, so I’m trying to run again. And feeling like I hadn’t accomplished anything, I wanted to try to run a marathon last year, and ended up injuring myself because I was overtraining (hence why I’ve been in and out of PT the last two months.) And on the flip side of the coin, while I can’t run, I’ve been trying to weight train at home but I don’t have friends that do it to ask for advice, and I’m afraid to go to a gym because I’m skinny and bad at it and afraid of looking really stupid in front of everyone. And making friends in a new city is so hard. There aren’t as many opportunities to meet people that you have things in common with, and I also just feel like I’m bad at it. I’m too earnest (clearly), I overshare, I make weird jokes, I talk too much (clearly, again), and it just feels like people don’t respond to it. I really liked what you said about looking up to people who have a goofy sense of humor (I think it’s part of why I like cartoons so much) - I wish I had the confidence to tell my jokes, and quote pop songs, and ask people if they’ve seen the Scooby Doo 2002 live action movie all the time, and not care if everyone likes me. But when you don’t have a lot of friends because you’re starting your life over it’s hard to keep that in mind. I’m clearly still working through stuff, but to finally bring the boat back around to what’s relevant, this channel has actually been very helpful. You guys are so good at what you do. Seeing your work ethic and success in real time has given me some hope that if I’m consistent and earnestly trying, it will get better. I’ll be able to release music, I’ll be able to run the marathon, I’ll be able to do a pull up, etc. I started a deal with a friend that I have to send her a verse-chorus every week (I’ve never shared my music with other people before, for fear it isn’t good enough) which I’ve stuck to so far, and I am doing more writing as a result. I ran for the first time post-injury on Saturday (like 10 minutes, but it’s something) and I started trying to do some research over the weekend to piece together a weight training plan (even if I don’t go to a gym, so there’s still some figuring out to do.) I also really appreciate the advice to do kindness for other people. I try to make a habit of it. I hope it’s been helpful to someone. The kindness you guys have in your videos is the first reason that this is my favorite ASMR channel. Ok, I gotta wrap this up. (Second sheep here) first off, thank you for the feedback!! And I’m all that you said I will be praying for you! Becoming an adult is hard especially with how fun being a kid is. One thing that helped me make friends is to honestly just say what you think is funny. 90% of the time when I first started joking around with people no one laughed or they seemed annoyed. But then I knew that wasn’t their style of jokes so I would experiment and tell different types of jokes around them until they laugh. And with the music I totally get what you’re saying. I have 6 songs that I’m working on for my first album and I’m afraid but at the same time I see how far so many people have come. Twenty one pilots first album doesn’t sound professional at all but now they sound really professional. So we gotta keep working at it. But the main thing is Enjoy imperfection as hard as that sounds. Also i too used to be skinny and it takes time but I know you can accomplish your goals! and I still do feel like everyone knows more than me sometimes but honestly they all just fake knowing because they’ve taught themselves to be confident in what they say. This was a really great video! Thank you for it! I especially like the gentle talking with long pauses. One little feedback would be to come closer to the camera with the brush. The thing I love most about face brushing is how it covers a lot of the screen and makes me blink and get sleepy. When it’s further away, it doesn’t have the same effect. Keep up the good work!

Most days I feel ok, but there are sometimes dark days just like today when I feel overwhelmed and when my anxiety strucks. I hate it and I it feels like the need to run away from the imaginary danger. I can't really explain, but it is like feeling extremely scared. Istg I've never been able to fall asleep to someone talking before because I focus to much on the sound of their voice or what they are saying unless it's muffled. I fall asleep in minutes listening to you. Also, I see colours and feel (like texture) sounds and voices; your whole vibe is a deep warm orange-brown and deep blue (think gradient of a birds-eye view of an ocean) with spikes of dark evergreen. It reminds me of a cabin deep in the woods at night. I like your voice because it's always shifting in colour for me and ebbs and flows like those powder filled balloons popping under water (it was really popular for a while lmao, it's the only way I can describe it). Great video btw :)

This was a really great video! Thank you for it! I especially like the gentle talking with long pauses. One little feedback would be to come closer to the camera with the brush. The thing I love most about face brushing is how it covers a lot of the screen and makes me blink and get sleepy. When it’s further away, it doesn’t have the same effect. Keep up the good work!

I almost accidentally fell asleep within the first minute
Most days I feel ok, but there are sometimes dark days just like today when I feel overwhelmed and when my anxiety strucks. I hate it and I it feels like the need to run away from the imaginary danger. I can't really explain, but it is like feeling extremely scared. When it hits me, I crawl under my blankets, cry and listen to Three Sheep ASMR. Thank you so very much, The Dillinger Boys for being my safe place and for comforting vids. Istg I've never been able to fall asleep to someone talking before because I focus to much on the sound of their voice or what they are saying unless it's muffled. I fall asleep in minutes listening to you. Also, I see colours and feel (like texture) sounds and voices; your whole vibe is a deep warm orange-brown and deep blue (think gradient of a birds-eye view of an ocean) with spikes of dark evergreen. It reminds me of a cabin deep in the woods at night. I like your voice because it's always shifting in colour for me and ebbs and flows like those powder filled balloons popping under water (it was really popular for a while lmao, it's the only way I can describe it). Great video btw :)
