Thanks for your kind comments, it was not easy. I started in 2016 when no one knew what an LT4 was, nor would they tune one. Now it has been the go to engine for professional builders, but now the Connect n Cruise LT4 drivetrains are no longer available since the Camaro went out of production. They're still made for the Cadillac and Chevy SUV, but that's it. You can find a few pullouts on Ebay, but they're asking close to 20K.
My engine was the first series (you can tell my the little duckbill kickup on the back of the supercharger). They were prone to overheating, so the factory redesigned the next version with a bigger intercooler and larger top. These engines get very hot and to cool them properly requires the most efficient coolant radiator, intercooler rad and oil cooler. Mine never overheated and would run 208d all day long because I redesigned the cooling system from what the factory did.
Everyone who took a ride, said it was the fastest car they've ever been in. Without driving aids like the Corvette Z06, it's a handful if you get squirrely. It was more horsepower than I needed, so I'm building two other Camaros that you can follow on my channel.
I started with the '68 because it was a car that was available and it was a solid build. Now I'm concentrating on the '67 ruclips.net/video/eYgJhzSyj_w/видео.htmlsi=z8HuUtoyU8bGEXJi
Because I'm building two other ones that use the Roadster shop frame and they're a superior build because everything I learned on the first one I've done it better on the second and the third. You can watch it here: ruclips.net/video/eYgJhzSyj_w/видео.htmlsi=z8HuUtoyU8bGEXJi
I am curious why you didn't add in a Vintage AC unit? I get weather is different everywhere. Here in Austin we sit in 110-115 degree with 100% humidity. It's close to the top of of the list down here.
First off I didn't want to impact the cooling capacity until I knew I have enough CFM. These early Gen 1 LT4's overheated and went into limp mode on the track
Absolutely gorgeous! Such a beautiful car!

So this is the car at the RestoMods giveaway? Wow. I would have never let that baby go if it were mine....acts of god precluding.

@texasmud91 For you guys it's mandatory, in the PNW it's not an issue.
Beautiful car! Who did your paint job? I'm looking for a good painter.
Very nice car
Now at resto mods hope to win the car 🚙
Is this the car RestoMod raffled off?
@@gumbono.5215Yes, it is. Got a hold of the winner to bring him up to speed.
I wish that was mine. LOL
Awesome car!! What’s the sale price?
Sold, getting shipped to San Diego tomorrow, Nov. 14th.
Didn't Restomods just give that car away? 🤔
@@peleni1 Yes. Got a hold of the winner, he's in Ohio.
Just wondering what was the asking price ?
125K
Wow that’s cheap…..
Bad wheel choice.. probably why it’s for sale 😂
I spend 6K on those wheels and I still like the Torque Thrust better
