Great playing. That is so awesome that your children are involved and I must say they are very well minded and mature also. It was refreshing to see. I have a few firefly guitars. I love them. The head stock and the cutaway on this model is identical to many 70's Ibanez guitars. Coincidence I'm not sure.
I put a set of Epiphone Probuckers with the quick connect harness in mine with great success. I popped the covers off to make sure they weren't "waxbuckers" (they kinda were) and knocked the excess wax off and out with a hair dryer. Havent put the covers back on yet but if you get a set post 2013 they'll be good nickel steel covers so they won't dull the tone like brass. Affordable also, I wouldnt pay more than $80 shipped from a US seller. Some solid body players think Probuckers are dark and a bit muddy in the neck but in the mostly maple 338 they're great. I've dropped the neck and raised to pole pieces to escape boominess. A set of Epi Alnico Classic Pros with alnico 2 magnets swapped in are set to debut, they should be close to Gibby 57 Classics.
Cool .. I love the inclusion of the young man Awesome kid congraz, But you lost me with the "A good platform to modify" Did you modify your Paul or that V in the background? Peace Out .. And know, You, your & the kid, work, time are are appreciated.
A pink guitar is a small price to pay for a new guitar you dont have to sneak in or hide. Just sayin, not that I would know anything about that. ;) Wow, the bridge sounds like instant Angus tone to my ears. I REALLY cant wait now! Come to me my precious, please Mr. UPS man be nice.

I just bought this guitar . The 338 .
It's crisp ! 😁👍🏻
Congrats on the beautiful guitar guys! Thank you!
It’s cool that you and your son are sharing the spotlight. Careful not to spread the tone seeking fever too young!
Great video. Thanks for the review guys!

The Paul we definitely did not modify. We built the V from scratch so you could say that one is all modifications!
Is it for your son or for you ?
For the family! (plus an excuse to get my hands on a semi-hollow)
