We wanted an eye-catching bass, so we made a V-style bass out of candy and epoxy. Featuring the spin-a-split mod for variable coil splitting in the pickup.

We wanted to determine what type of guitar was more comfortable for sitting, an offset or a V-style guitar. So we made one of each. The V-style guitar features a maple body and mahogany neck with Vintage Vibe HS-90 pickups (Alnico V in the bridge, Alnico III in the neck) and Tone Ninja tuners. I let my boys do the unboxing and initial reaction for a Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass and get some entertaining reaction (maybe #broccolituners is going to be a new trend).
