@IamHelenKeller Thank u so much :) I think they eat healthier than I do as well...I buy fresh food just for the birds sometimes & I don't even eat it half the time! Yes, it's easy to tell the males, they have the cobalt blue streak under their feathers & on their rump at around 3 weeks. Hard to tell by just them running around tho. Sometimes i have to check their bands to make sure which one is which!
Hi Joanne, These are all sweet looking young parrotlets. I think your birds eat a healthier diet than I do : ) Is it hard to tell the males from the females at such a young age as this? Thanks for another interesting and entertaining video! : )
@endorpha They get some veggies like broccoli, cucumber, carrots, green beans, frozen mix sometimes, sprouted seeds...and some fruit like strawberries, oranges, grapes. sometimes they only get sprouted seeds cuz i'm too busy. haha.

My parrotlet drinks loads and therefore it pees a lot and the paper at the bottom of the cage get wet often and has to be changed, could there be a problem?

lol, they always come back up with a beak full of food & dunk it into the drinking bowl so that they can try on a diff wig everytime

I've heard parrotlets can eat pretty much anything - except for a few types of plants.
Have you ever followed up on Koolaid and Smoky's babies? I would love to care for one of their offspring..
