When I first heard her on Howard Stern, I never knew she could sing. She is absolutely amazing. She’s got the look. She’s got the energy and she’s got the voice. I love her and I want to hear more and more and more and whatever you’re doing Kate, don’t change it. It’s perfect the way it is.

You cant compare the generations of the parents to the generations of thier children, 2 completely different times. Doesn't matter if the parent was a "mega star" or not--- the child had all the tools needed to get thier career started, there's no such thing as a "small door"---that door was there that most people don't have the benefit of getting into. Cyrus never generated anything alone, she never had to work for her success, the tools were there for her from the beginning

I remember her guest starring on Glee and nailing Lady Gaga’s “Americano”, which is not an easy song to sing if you don’t have pipes, and I was shocked when she nailed it because up until that point, I had no idea that she could sing. From then on, I always wondered if she’d ever foray into music and hoped that she one day would.
I’m so happy to see her go full throttle as an artist! There’s a naturally positive, light vibe about her and the world right now could certainly use it. I’d say the difference between her and a lot of actors turned singers is that she genuinely seems to have a love for music and performing, and this doesn’t feel like a cash grab or a forced rebrand. Her live vocals here prove it! This is someone who clearly has been singing her whole life.
Kudos to Kate! I’m excited to see how her music career evolves :)
