- Michael Cohen has completed his second day of intense cross-examination by Todd Blanche, former President Trump’s attorney, with the proceedings in the hush money trial growing increasingly heated while the defense attempted to paint Cohen as a liar.
Cohen is expected to be the prosecution’s last witness in the historic trial, which has stretched into its fourth week. Cross-examination is expected to wrap-up on Monday morning, the next time the trial will be held.
Attorneys indicated before the trial broke for the day on Thursday that each side could rest its case as soon as next Tuesday. There still is no word on whether Trump himself plans to testify.

Pretty sure you have to have credibility in order for it to be attacked.
This summary is curious at best. The jury will decide based on the evidence provided, not the antics and wishes of the reporters.

What is the felony? So far the only charges are misdemeanors that have expired by statute. Are you even listening? Hello. You are referring to the bookkeeping supposed crimes that have expired again by statute. Those are only a factor if done to enable a larger (felony) crime. That larger crime if it exists, has not yet been alleged. Please try to at least do a little research before embarrassing yourself further.
What would Cohen gain from lying? He has, however, everything to lose by doing so.

@@thedoopa3169 The prosecution will be wrapping up their case early this week. Defense attorneys still have to formulate a defense that proves their clients innocence. Blanche & company can't even decide if they're going to put Trump on the witness stand. If Trump's team can't come up with a defense then the trial will move to the jury.
