My OT used this to help during my recovery from broken wrist (distal and radius fractures with a remaining 15 degree displacement). From March thru June I had a hard-to-describe but consistent, very uncomfortable sensation whenever I moved my hand in certain directions. During my first session using this machine, that sensation went away. it has never returned. I'm so grateful. It also helped provide pain relief for me. I love this machine. I wish I could find an affordable version to use at home.
I find this very very interesting. I had never heard of this. Of course, I know about Whirlpool therapy, obviously, as I've had it. I've been in the Hydroworx 2000 pool, and love the technology behind it. I've seen a Hubbard tank, which is a large stainless steel tank, consisting of a lifting mechanism, which is driven via a hydraulic lift, and a turbine driven whirlpool. This large stainless steel tank, was invented in the year 1928, by the American Engineer Carl P. Hubbard, and was commonly used for the treatment if patients, who were extensively burned. It was also used for the rehabilitation of Polio patients.

Fluidotherapy is super cool, I use it on most of my clients before massage, stretching, and exercise!
I've used this many times when I was in therapy. Really hot therapy for helping to loosen your joints. Great information. Thanks guys.
