i honestly believe that halo is the most mismanaged franchise in popular esports and multiplayer games, 5 took years to become decent, mcc didnt work for over half its current lifespan at all, infinite still has no content, broken ranked system and a lack of server selection its still my favorite series, many fond memories of playing system link and split screen even at pc lan events i dont think it will ever be as good as it once was

The original Halo was huge for a lot of reasons, but there was nothing lightning fast about it :P For an FPS not based in realism, it was very slow paced for its time. Take a look at Quake, Unreal, etc. to see what I am talking about.

You criticize a former lack of spectator mode while praising a game that has less current features than any previous game. For gods sake they had to stop using PC at hcs because of crashes.
