Yarok Landfall Tips: Fetchlands are great because they can sit on board to add to the list of names for Field of the Dead, or can allow for 2 landfall triggers each (4 with yarok) Wild Pair with Yarok will allow you to tutor and cheat out quite a few creatures and essentially gives each creature an etb that cheats out other creatures. It is especially useful with 1/1 creatures for example if u play Wood Elves, you can get Wood elves and Farhaven Elf, each of those triggering twice with Yarok, meaning casting a land ramp creature ends up making u 6 lands. This makes most creatures pretty crazy, and can probably set up combos like: Cloud of Faeries and Shrieking Drake can both be searched by the same Wild Pair trigger (they are both 1/1s), so you can tap 4 lands to float the mana, play the faeries and untap them, play shrieking drake and bounce the cloud of faeries and the drake to ur hand. Retap the 4 lands so u have 8 floating mana and recast the faeries and drake for 2 mana in total (so now u have 6 floating) rinse and repeat and u have infinite mana. Woodland Bellowers can search and cheat 2 creatures with cmc 3 or less with yarok. Meaning u can pull combo pieces including the aforementioned Cloud of Faeries and Shrieking Drake. Or land ramp creatures, or Risen Reef and an Elemental. Zendikar's Roil and Risen Reef can go nearly infinite for land drops and card draw. The new Kodama of the East Tree will allow for you to cheat quite a few things from hand and it works with lands and in conjunction with yarok so playing a land lets u drop 2 more from hand. Or playing any permanent with a mana cost can get u 2 land drops if needed Dire Undercurrents will allow for a good draw engine but even better yet, with Field of the Dead online each land you play (with Yarok) will make 2 black zombies, which will each trigger Dire Undercurrents twice allowing you to force 4 discards from selected opponents spread however you want. Keep in mind this is with each land played, so a fetch land, or a wood elves will each be able to do this twice, meaning you can pretty easily make opponents discard all of their hands over time. Rune-Scarred Demon with Yarok can tutor two cards Scry Lands allow for 2 instances of scrying for card fixing Making half your basic lands snow covered will help trigger Field of the Dead more (or just add one of each and search them with basic land searches) You can use Thespian Stage to make a second Field of the Dead The new Ancient Greenwarden is a yarok/panharmonicon for landfall triggers, and acts as a Crucible of Worlds, so it is a must have in this deck The new Scute Swarm, can make copies of itself using landfall, meaning u can exponentially make 1/1s allowing for Createrhoof Behemoth or End-Raze Forerunner to clean up. And having Yarok/Greenwarden is just icing on the cake. Lastly don't forget to add Panharmonicon! Those are just a few tips I have come up with or seen, feel free to let me know some cool additions to a Yarok deck!
When I built Yarok I seeked for a very different build thats what the current strategies suggested on EDHrec. The deck is more casual than competitive, affordable and a lot of fun to play. When making my reasearch I noticed that there was potent elves with ETB search land (like the ones you suggested) and also for card draw and +1/+1 counters. I ended up building a tribal elves +1/+1 counter strategy. With Yarok, cards like Marwyn can grow big fast, Evolution Sage makes you proliferate these counters. Add Hardened Scales and/or Winding Constrictor as support to add lot of +1/+1 counters. If someone is seeking for a different Yarok build, I recommend them to try this strategy. However, I'm not sure that my deck would beat easily the Landfall version of this video.
I didn't think it possible to make Zuran Orb semi-decent, but tapping 3 lands, saccing them to gain 6, and then playing all 3 from the graveyard again to get 3 landfall triggers is actually good.
Zuran Orb was restricted in "type 2" (standard) back in the day because of how good it was with balance, among other things. It was also a staple in Ernham-Geddon decks where in response to casting Armageddon you'd sacrifice all your land to gain a ton of life.
I just built Yarok and my deck is 90% the same as this one. I wish he had published this first because it would have saved me a lot of time and research. Oh well. I disagree with a few on his inclusions but this is basically how I built Yarok too.
Yeah i feel you brother. It takes time to build a good collection. And money but if you love the game just save what you can when you can. And one day you'll be able to build new decks and only have to buy 1 or 2 cards. Wait for reprints too. This next year is gonna have tons of command staples reprinted with all the commander products coming out
@@HankusTheTankus333 yes, commander goes by color identity, which is colors in mana cost and colors in activated or passive abilities. For example "Morophon, the boundless" is a colorless shapeshifter but has wubrg in its passive ability so its color identity is WUBRG.

Adding snow covered basics helps with the unique land name count for field

Amazing!! Neve thought on building it on landfall, but seems really strong, specially with fetch lands
Tons of people build Yarok this way...
Definitely like the deck list and the curve. Seems you stayed between 3-5 and i personally love decks that can overpower while keeping a low curve
A card I play in my Yarok that I see a lot of people overlook is Grave Titan. It's like having a 2nd Avenger of Zendikar.

Wicked cool build keep up the hard work

Looks great ^^ Need to find some cards to play it but i'll surely have some BIG fun with Yaroooook 🤘
Ty soooo much 🤗
This deck is awesome! I love it. The way i like to play magic. Good job
Cool deck! I don't think oblivion sower would work with Yarok because it's an on-cast trigger, and not an ETB trigger.
I think you are correct on that
Yarok is one of my favorite commanders and it's really easy to get a fast win with him
Why looking for fast win when you can play with fun ?😋
I just realized its Commander Void now not Voidmage Gamer. When did that happen?
Nice vid!
I really like the deck, just very expensive on paper😢

Thespian stage for copying field of the dead
no Golos?
Don't you Need red and white Mana for this guy ??
ZeV he’s a colorless artifact creature but his activated ability has red. Does that mean he can’t be in this deck?
