It's hard to imagine the level of energy and excitement that must have been present during Michael Jackson's performances, with the music being so loud that it caused vibrations in the floors and walls. I can only imagine the energy in the room during those performances.

Most people have no idea who this guy is but his talent as a choreographer is unsurpassed - he’s worked with my 2 favourite artists Madonna and MJ so you don’t get much better than that - that’s pop royalty 🥰

Michael is on video tape in 1984 saying he contributed “large portions” of Beat It choreography and that he would let them work on things then “come into the studio and tell them what he didn’t like and change things to suit his style, adding his own stuff in”. Like many others after MJ died, people who worked with him try to over inflate their own contributions. That extends to Quincy Jones also. Pisses me off. This man just said “Michael didn’t contribute much to Beat it choreography” 🤫

Beat It… to me, will always be the most iconic dance routine. The simplicity, fluidity, masculinity in what was essentially a contemporary dance piece whilst being displayed by what was essentially, LA Gangbangers… is untouchable to me.
