Lol 😂 I know we’re memeing, but I personally think Aquatics should give units the ability to hide in shallow water. Then at least it would be interesting
@@Weberkooks I don’t know why my comment was removed, but I still think the nerf for aquatic was not need because of how rare a wet environment shows up on the map.
@@liamcullen3035 Kroxigor actually have that ability. nothing like a surprise Crocodile to eat a pack of dogs going for the easy skink target.
Picking 10 gun units into heavy hobgoblin build is a bad case of BO Roulette.
Was the Coast player building to counter a Chawi artillery build?
Absolute props to the people good at domination. I tried it vs AI the other day and yikes that is a lot to keep track of.

The main challange with this build is that the melee troops can't tank enough or be called in fast enough to keep the guns online to keep up the value trade. The starting build I do think was solid but probably should have swapped out one of the syreens and the halberds and maybe something else too for maybe some depth guard or mournghouls. you definitely need something to mulch through at least a part of the frontline engagement. this matchup in general might have moved to hinge on who's build ends up the counter to the other's build

Tips when you want to play like that whit vampire Coast or a big gun line in general : place your range units in 2 row like a inverse concave and then place you melee troop on the sides, let the middle open
Your opponent and both know that middle is a death zone :) so he won't push in it
And the depth of your formation will allow you to deal whit flankers
Easily, also you can make an asymmetric hold on your front line, once a side collapse the other can support from range while you retreat ;)
The idea is because you invest into range your front line will inevitably fall, so we can prepare for it.
Going head on is just suicidal
If coast brought Queen Bess it would've been over int the time you can say "Powder Keg"

Coast's got nothing. I predict them crumbling back down to bottom place as they always have.
The slowest faction, most expensive for the most useless units with nearly no DPS and the lowest stats overall.
Less of a glass cannon, more of a paper spoon.
This is not a display of VCoast, their build was absolute dogshit. 8 gun line units and 5 tier1 infantry. Guns get to fire 1-2 volleys and then are instantly overwhelmed as the frontline folds and flanks are already exposed.
Even with call-in units that is bad, just hyper-greeded their build. That’s an army you can get away with in campaign at best
@@paullangford348 If you have an overwhelming firepower that can be enough to defend the flanks. But usually it doesnt work

Imagine having an army where your biggest fear is facing goblin archers.
Or a fire caster with enough WOM for 3 burning heads. Also army loss.

I really wish the hobgoblin archers got buffed to 160 range, at their current 130 range they don't outrange any rifle units which makes them really questionable picks. Would also make lore of hashut a bit better indirectly, since you'd get more utility out of Ash Storm with better range on flaming missiles.
That would be an absurdly big buff. Maybe start at 140-145. At 160 they'd match most crossbows
Why should shortbows outrange rifles? They are cheap and shoot.
Yea idk about the range buff I’m not sure how much of a cost reduction they received but I think. Making them super cheap and spammable is the better option for a light archer unit.
@@adustygreasyandsweatybonnet There is no point in spammable archers with poor range. Rule of thumb is that you need three melee units to protect one ranged unit. If you take any you want them to have proper damage potential, hence why you don't see anyone taking empire archers, TK skeleton archers or goblin/night goblin archers.
