The 1 question that I wish someone would ask a member is how "Strictly for my Grind" came about.
The unreleased group track that a DJ bought in 99/00 that has Bizzy doing a template verse for Eazy that's a direct DPG diss.
I think that beef started when Lay called into the Ruthless Radio show while DPG were arguing with Eazy, Layzie said something like "We all gotta be TRUES" and either Kurupt or Daz said "we dont know nothing bout no TRUES round here, we Gangstas!"
Then came 'Mo Murda' came out and Krayzie saying "Follow me Roll Stroll, down East 99 gotta find these ROW HOES/ Ni**ga you woke up all of a sudden you was all in my hood/ I'ma...real Thuggish Ni**a so uh, I would have to K!ll ya/"
Then proceeds to say "Claim my thang, my slang/"
being DPG were tryna clown their slang when they said 'Trues'
(Cleveland slang for your homies/ Day 1s)
But yea, "Strictly for my Grind" is a gem

Big Court asks questions that a lot of die hard Bone fans really wanna know! I bet Krayzie never had anyone go into so much detail about songs like Time After Time before. Also, Court- you don’t remember the old Willy Wonka movie with the Still Believe song?! Kray flipped that Dummy Man can which was a spin-off of Candy Man from Wonka too.
