  • Learn supermarket vocabulary that you can use the next time you are grocery shopping!
Many English students learn food vocabulary, but it is useful to learn vocabulary about the grocery store or supermarket too!
In a supermarket, there are different sections. What food items can you find in the deli, bakery, or produce section? Do you prefer to use a shopping cart or a basket? which aisle can you find different items in your local supermarket? Do you pay for your groceries with credit card or cash?
Follow Mike and Helen as they do their grocery shopping in their local supermarket!
PS - There's a panda hidden somewhere in the background. Did you see it? Leave a 👍 in the comment section when you find the panda!

    Hello! Have a question here.
In my country, the clerk will ask you if you need a bag, which cost around 1 or 2 NT dollars(our trading currencies) So should the conversation be like: Clerk: Do you need a plastic/paper bag for 1 dollar? Customer: A paper bag, please. / No, thank you. I bring my bag/ shopping bag.
    Thank you!

Hi, good question! You are correct about your first response:
      Customer: A paper bag, please.
But the second response should be:
No, thank you. I brought my own bag/shopping bag.
      OR
No, thank you. I've brought my own bag/shopping bag.
      All the best! ❤️

Thanks for your comment! Believe it or not, English is a global language. There is more than 1 "correct" way to say different things. 😁❤️ Also, don't forget to capitalize the beginning of a sentence, as well as "English" and "American!"

This isn't a learning video. It's way too complicated for beginners.
