+Sariah Robins Not at all in my opinion. But typically if someone knows that there is mushrooms inside of something, psychologically they are going to convince themselves that they taste it. So I would say don't even tell him they are there. The mild flavor of oyster mushrooms is easily masked by a little soy sauce alone, not even considering the strong flavors of the other asian flavors in this recipe. I would say to for it. Add plenty of rehydrated rice paper pieces for a really good fatty texture, he'll love it 😊
+stcstaci1 They weren't cooked enough. They should be tender to the bite before you add them to your mix. Next time roast them covered tightly longer, or after you shred Them saute them until they are tender to the bite.

You put rice paper in the mixture and we don't see any rice paper and the video is going super fast when mixing. On all of your protein videos the video is sped up too fast and the knowledge you are sharing is getting lost. Your protein videos are some of the best on RUclips so please slow down so we can enjoy your expertise.
If you have a vitamix and the large container has broken, give them a call they'll send you a new one free. My seal was leaking so they sent me a new one and told me to throw the other out.

How do you make the oysters tender? Mines always come out tough and chewy
Roast them... a long time, lol. I cooked my oyster mushrooms (when I need the really tender) up to 3rd at 325F

No, it will clump together in a bit mass. It’s best b to allow the wet mixture to rehydrate it as you knead.

I roasted my mushrooms, they shredded well but they were rubbery. What did I do wrong?
