STORYLINE:
Britain''s Prince of Wales and his son Prince William made a relaxed appearance for the media at the Swiss ski resort of Klosters on Sunday.
Charles and his eldest son, who are on a week-long private holiday with friends at the exclusive resort, agreed to take part in the pre-arranged media photocall in exchange for being left alone on the rest of their visit.
Skiing down to meet the assembled photographers and journalists, the pair took off their skis and stuck their poles into the snow.
Then, against a stunning backdrop of crisp white mountains and fur trees, 21 year old William and 55 year old Charles chatted to the media as they sat on a wooden bench at the top of a slope.
A confident William took the lead as he answered questions on everything from who was the better skier, to his feelings on England losing a vital rugby game to arch rivals, France.
Charles, who arrived on Friday, enjoyed a full day on the slopes yesterday with his trusted ski guide Bruno Sprecher.
It is the family''s first trip to Charles''s favourite ski resort for several years.
Last spring, the Prince indicated he would cancel his 2003 visit if the war with Iraq went ahead, but a hernia operation ensured that the break was definitely off.
In 2002, the holiday - normally an annual affair - was cut short on the second day by the death of the Queen Mother, while in 2001 Charles stayed at home to show solidarity with farmers during the foot-and-mouth crisis.

His hand on his Dad I shoulder was a rare treat to see. They just don't show physical affection like that in public much. And Prince Charles was touched by it, you can see it on his face and demeanor.
