Between 300BC (before the fall or Meroe (nubia)) and 700 AD, Axum (Ethiopia) was one of the 4 major super powers of the world. The other super powers were Persia. Byzantium and of course China. I here you loud and clear. My good friend who has passed on introduced me to alot of things regarding Ethiopia even though he was from Eritrea. His roommate was Somali actually married my cousin. The two men were very respectful to one another but I noticed that the Somali would always refer to the Eritrean roommates people as habesha people. In later years I read that the Ethiopians/Abyssinians were descendants of the habesha people of Yemen. Clearly it bc evident that there are so many things we don't know.
