So Cool. that is one huge castle. Built to withstand. Those stairs are so narrow and steep. If you were a servant imagine going up and down and all around that. Geeez !. Can you imagine living in that structure back in the day ?
That was a fascinating wander! Pembroke Castle seems to be all about stairs! So many stairs and tiny nooks and the layout makes no sense today! Dear darling Sherpa is such a trooper! I've always wanted to visit here with it being the birthplace of Henry 7th. (Although the castle was built alot earlier in 1093). I love anything related to the war of the roses and the Tudor's.

Fantastic wander, the castle and grounds are mesmerizing. The dynamic duo it did again, stirring up interest in far away places and showing us the most wonderful things. The more I see of Wales the more wonderful it appears. In spite of needed limits making some areas inaccessible for him, Sherpa did remarkably well. He's in great shape, Jamie is certainly taking good care of him. I'm sure one of the main contributing factors is he gets plenty of exercise; unlike most dogs and too many people. Pembroke castle was yet another special video treat and one that I'll have to revisit. (Typo edit)

Watching on January 31, 2025 at 10:36 pm, remembering Sherpa, and supporting Jamie. Wow, quite a castle with so many passages and hallways and towers. Sherpy did so well with all those stairs. The place seems enormous, and must have taken forever to complete. I imagine the upkeep is a constant task. Very neat exploration! I always enjoy seeing Sherpy getting a nice little rest in at the end of the video. He was really a champ. Rest In Peace sweet Sherpa- watch over Jamie until you two are reunited at the Rainbow Bridge. 🌈🌈🌈

The castle was amazing but the views were even more magnificent. Those stairs though we're killers. I would compare them to the stairs on the temple of the Sun at the Aztec ruins in Mexico City. Only difference is walls. Sherpa really had a good workout with all those stairs. Thanks for sharing this wonderful experience with us.

The small room beside the banquet hall is probably the toilet. But back in the day the Castle Owners didn't have to worry about paying taxes as they were usually collecting it.
