I have recently been getting into magic books as a 22 year old. I wish there were more hours in the day so I can read and understand all the material. I have bought countless individual tricks and downloads but there is a special charm about learning a trick from a book. One good trick from any given book can be worth it's weight in gold.

I continue to watch your program, although sporadically. You always have a good take on the subjects. This was a very nice selection of OOP - something for everyone.

Because of this, copies of The Vernon Touch started appearing in the second hand market at better prices. Thanks, Jeff. Been holding my breath for the reprint of John Bannon’s Mr Fantasy… since 2023.

A year ago you mentioned Bob Cassidy's, Art of Mentalism was going to be republished. Any updates as to when that will happen.

Reading it now and so far it is really great. I’m not that far in, but something tells me that this is going to be in the top ten of my collection.

@@EruditeMagicI think that @Dr. Tinkerpaw is referring to The Art of Mentalism which is different from Artful that you mentioned in this video? BTW: Great stuff and thanks for these videos. I enjoy them very much.

For me, Alain Bellon’s Obsidian Oblique is my number one OOP book that impacted me.

I remember at Magic Live, Johnny Thompson lectured on Charlie Miller. He called out Richard Kaufman to publish a compilation of Miller articles from Genii’s Magicana like he did with The Vernon Touch. Kaufman said he would and he did. Both books were special add ons to subscriptions of Genii. It a deal that is hard to pass.

I have them all, but I hope the rights to the books of Darwin Ortiz are owned by somebody that will keep them available for future magicians.

Good question - not sure who owns the rights...
