For Diff fluid why 1M in front middle and 500k in rear? I was thinking 1M rear and middle and 500K in front as those are the steering components so need a bit more variable rotation. Or is my thought process wrong?
No, that's a good idea to try, we've just never tried it. Whichever end is lighter will be more free and diff easier. Most race 1/8 buggies have the rear end a little lighter to square up and find traction, so that was our thinking. The 1M in the front definitely doesn't do any favors for the steering though. I'm interested to hear how it works out; if you give it a try, let us know the results. -Brett
Problem with those stand offs is when they break you cant just bolt a new sceew in you need to pay for new ones. When i brek the stock one it costs me pennies to replace the screw. Better that than bending the shock towers because they aRe leverage points

Would you rather buy the truck upgraded out of the box, or would you rather do it yourself over time? You can't go wrong with either truck really, both are great bashers. Hope you get one! -Brett
I usually twist them down very tight with heavier 1/8 vehicles. Once you start driving, you'll get a feel for its setting by how much the steering holds, or if it gives out, and then adjust to where you like it. You don't want the servo saver to "give" during normal driving because that will zap steering performance. Instead, you want it set just so it gives under quick, hard hits. -Brett
Also, with the stock servo, or any low-torque servos, it's a good idea to set the servo saver looser as a safety cushion, whereas high-torque aftermarket servos are typically strong enough to operate a tight servo saver. Hope that helps. -Brett
