Thanks Doug! With all the little tricks I’ve learned I’m starting to feel like a pro whenever I’m designing in CorelDraw. There’s nothing I can’t do! 😀
I just got Corel draw x6 on a computer I acquired. I usually use Inkscape and have a way of doing a version of this, but I keep the head, tail and legs solid and just letter inside where the body would be. I start out with a solid body image. is there a way to accomplish your effect with a solid image, if not is there a way where if I make a duplicate of the solid image, I can make the duplicate into the outline like you use, make my lettering and get rid of the outline so I am left with just the lettering, solid head, tail and legs?
what if you would put in inside a circle, but you have to avoid the inner circle ( 2 circles) the problem here is that there is no intersection how do i solve this?
I figured it out. In the 2020 version there are three icons at the bottom. If you hover your mouse over them the first one is “keep lines” the second one is “create new envelope form” this one takes the place of the eye dropper. Click on the second icon when he clicks on the eye dropper in the video.
