Honestly, anyone would love to be in this position but frankly if you think about it, it's scary as hell. Do they let him go against the Giants for one more game and have him possibly take the record against his old team, but risk him getting hurt and messing up a Superbowl run? Especially when people are always gonna complain that he didn't beat the record in 16 games like Dickerson did. It'll be the 17th game next week. I wouldn't wanna be the coach having to make this call that's for sure
I'd luv to see Saquom get the record b/c he Deserves it - right now he has 34 Fewer carries than Eric Dickerson in his 2.105 yr but the fact that Phila kept Barkley in to get 2,000 in the 4th Qtr of a blow out tells us he's sitting unless they have a chance for the #1 seed - Phila going for a 2nd SB & 6th NFL Title
Allowing him to break the record and his teammates being part of history can make a difference in the attitude of the team going into the playoffs. Players have hurt themselves in the shower or like Deuce walking through the stadium. We and he deserves this opportunity.

I think the Dallas Cowboys should keep all their coaches and their roster the same. They have a great game planned looking forward.

The record is kinda lessened because of the extra week of games. It should be an asterisk by it honestly. But it won't.
Didn't Simpson do it in 14 games, all the others should have an asterisk too with your logic. A better comparison would be the amount of carries.
