I have to agree...there are loses in life, risks may be a downfall or a success, but one thing you should know Gabriel, is there are many true fans, like me, who enjoy all the places you take us. We consider you a long life friend because you have been a big part of our life, we even pray for your well-being and safe travels! For years we have followed you in your travels, your interests, we know what you enjoy in food and drink...including your fav sayings,,, aright aright, aright even your fav bands! lol You've brought us to your family members and close friends also! Home or far across the globe you continue to be yourself, one hell of a guy, true, honest and respectful to all, so how can we not support your work, your love of life! We really care and love you Gabriel! Keep your chin up and thank you for sharing it all with us!
Thank you for your video I am from Yuba City/ Marysville but now live in Reno. I just happened to come across your video in Reno this morning. Then i watched your other video. So, just seeing your drive through my hometown and your story, at a time when I needed it was awesome. So thank you.
Road trips are the best and these types of videos that you make in the US are my favorite. I LOVE when you share previous travel stories, could listen to them all day. This was an awesome, relaxing, rainy day video! ☔️☔️👏👏❤️❤️ And I have to say watching you drive a manual car (stick shift) whilst filming a video steady enough for RUclips and giving a running commentary ALL at the same time!!??!! WOW- that is talent!!! Haha…
I love your road trips, whether rain, hail, shine or snow. I always feel like I am travelling with you. The countryside looks so green and I love the quaint little towns on the way. Nevada City looks historic and interesting, gorgeous town. Looking forward to seeing Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada mountains. ✌️😊❤️
Likewise… for us non Americans watching, US is as appealing as other places but I understand the problem on views/income. Maybe a US travels specific channel needed?
Thanks for going all over the world Gabriel, I have a good memory and your videos show me the world I see on maps. You have travelled the world for me, peace my brother.
Been loving this series in the US. I'll be in California in June for a couple of weeks and your videos from the area have been super helpful for giving me some ideas. ✌
Videos like this are great, eats up time watching on laptop in an airport. Fall of 1994 our paths went in opposite directions, I got locked into a factory job that I retired from last year. I can't say I would do it again.

Hi Gabe, always enjoy your videos. Your travels allow me to see parts of the world that I will never get to visit. Being an inquisitive person, I know that you'll appreciate this bit of trivia. Jose already explained to you the meaning of nevada and sierra; Sierra Nevada, as he stated can be translated as snowy mountains, or snow-covered mountains, or snow-capped mountains etc. In Spanish, there are at least two ways of saying mountain range. Cordillera is one of them. A cordillera is a mountain range of undulating mountains like the ones found in Appalachia, whereas a sierra (which in Spanish also means a saw), is a mountain range of jagged peaks. In Idaho there is a mountain range known as the Sawtooth Range. I'm assuming that when Spanish explorers first beheld the mountain range that they named Sierra Nevada it reminded them of a snow-capped tooth saw and of their homeland since there is also a mountain range in Spain by the same name.
A view of the snowy peaks of the Sierra Nevada from Alhambra is very spectacular! The green gardens contrast sharply with the snow, beauty! Thanks for the reminder of a beautiful holiday!😊
Yeah! Gabe... Bit like Sanfrancisco 69ers town in other travels before. Best hotel for a while. It's nice to know you will be keeping it moving. Bye for now. Craig. UK.
The bus to Rohnert Park’s Graton Casino 🎰 from Geary St in San Francisco’s Richmond District is just $10 bucks. Don’t go to casino but bus service is really convenient for reaching Boyes Hot Springs.

I traveled to California in september 2019, cool place! Visited L.A and drove highway 1 to San Fransisco, also visited lake tahoe and yosemite national park. Greeting from Norway. Be sure to visit Norway once Gabe, beatiful nature especially here in the western part and also the north :) I saw you visited Oslo but I can assure you that it`s the least impressive part of my country, lmao
Great video, very relaxing. You should do more US road trip content! Maybe it will motivate me to go and do one some day. Too bad rentals are so expensive.

Ananda is a word from India meaning bliss. Speaking of which, Native Americans were mistaken for being Indian people and that's why they were called Indians. Hey Gabriel what do you do about car insurance?? My son lives the same as you, (well the 20 year old version of you anyways lol) he's ski patrol up in Yosemite right now, rock climber and long distance backpacker. He needs car insurance only intermittently through the year. Home base is so cal. lmk if you have any suggestions. Thanks love all your videos!!!!! 💛✨

I wanna go fly fishing and see how great beavers are by preventing wildfires. How much are the fishing licenses for Bureau of Land Management watersheds in CA? 💚 Thankful for tasty trout too. I guess I like the silence and stress reduction knowing that running around with petro isn't really required for a couple of weeks at a time. Doing this in Sri Lanka might be even more of a challenge than by bus & bike in US. Looking forward. Enjoy your days.
In the 1990’s there was a ballot initiative that allowed gambling on Indian lands. I voted for it.
That is why there is gambling on Indian lands in California

I love such videos of yours. Simple walking/driving videos with your story telling.
The little mountain range you saw before Yuba city is the smallest range in the world. The Middle mountain. (sutter buttes)
Wow, you're right, I hadn't realized that.
Nevada City is a very nice place and the Yuba River has some of the best river swimming in the world.
