PC = sounds what you want to hear.
GTS = sounds that are real, in relation to camera distance, surroundings and track.
GTS sound is based on real life. not the ones you just want to hear on the game. if you think the muffled sounds aren't deliberate, then the misfiring could have been muffled. but they aren't. so the sound is deliberate for real world experience.
If you really think about it, GT Sport's sound could actually sound like the real thing if it didn't sound so compressed.
Why you turn down the volume on gtsport?? I see videos with normal audio of gtsport and sounds way better than this
Because turning down the volume can make GT sounds like shit and everyone will push PC2 to be a king.

That's because it wasn't at midday. Colours and details always more enhanced further away from midday. Same with photography, you don't go taking photos middle of the day, too bright. Should have been same track at same time of day.
Gran Turismo is always laking on amplifing the sound u want to actually hear, even though its more accurate to the real thing

Sound tone is correct, almost 100% match, but volume of different parts always wrong.

If you increase the volume in-game (But care you ear), you will know that the sound is correct, because they are recorded from the real car.
Just GT developers always low down the engine sound, and make the cockpit of race car as quiet as a commercial vehicle
Actually it is quite annoying to me too, even I'm a GT fans.
After playing PC2 and Assetto Corsa many hours, the sound problem of GT Sport is so obvious.
I hope GT can let us to adjust the volume of different parts of the game, just like the sound setting of Assetto Corsa, it will improve a lot of the game.
Crazy how GT used to have bad sound and good graphics and now it has the best sounds and graphics.

Gran turismo is such a great game, but the sound comes through like it’s muffled in some way, maybe they do it on purpose to fit the feel of the game.
I’d prefer it if they made it more authentic though, project cars 2 sounds so damn good.

They focused on was HDR...the cars look plastic. Now the sound is what ruined the whole game. It’s a vacuum cleaner. No exhaust sound inside cockpit at all. That’s not even close to real.

danicras 89 GT SPORT has a better sound because it’s more realistic not like project cars it has that computer forza like nascar sound. On the other hand GT SPORT doesn’t sound like a nascar but it has that natural sound that you would hear in a real life race track. Winner = GT SPORT

As I have been with a race team that runs a AMG GT3, PC2 has the sound more accurate then GTS. GTS engine sound on this car is not even close.

Owning both of these games since day one I keep going back to PC2. It’s an incredible game over gt sport. GT is still great but so many aspects of PC2 overshadow it
Not bad for a small studio like SMS. I feel the same. PC2 feels alive with a constantly evolving track and incredible tire model. Easy win for PC2

projet cars have this kind of phaser who is technicly a low sound design like the old GT5
also GTS have made some huge progress compared to GT6

The in car views sound(s) are a lot better than this view on gt sport. Both equally good games. I’d say gt sport takes it on the graphical front tho.

I've both these games and I can honestly say that GTS is better on the graphic!
However the gameplay I can't compare because I can't set PC2 up! PC2 seems allot more complex and to be honest, I've no idea how to tune the cars up ffs

@@nasrullahmuslim4003 Uhh hats because it's a Sim. GT isn't. So yes GTS is easier as it uses a simcade model like Forza
pc2 on gamepad is still pretty good but on gamepad gt sport is better (pc2 is only good on pad if you tweak the settings)

Physics wise project cars 2 is way better than gt sport
and if you want like one of the best sims, then go for either rafactor (PC only) or asseto Corsa (PC PS4 Xbox one)

I think the number of copies sold is a better quality index than reviews made by nerds playing with a controller, we will see. And I think is better to pay Hamilton and take a Degree at Modena for marketing than pay reviewers. Today reviews are far from reliable, because the gaming industry is full of money.

Gran Turismo got best graphics but the sound is not here seems like the car got a 2 cylinder engine project cars is perfect in 1st person view when you ajust the FOV and the speed sensibility, GT sport don't propose 1st person seting and its boring. For resume awesome engine sound in pc2 you know you got an engine set the 1st person view and you'l never be back to GT sport
i know mountain in background look impressive, but frankly PC2 look better (and sound better) Should have been the same track though yet GTS has very few real world tracks
GTS > ACC > PJC > IRC
A true comparison would have been same track at same time of the day, of course mountains in the back ground looks better, especially early morning or late afternoon, not Zhouhai slap bang in the middle of the day ffs.

Its the default FOV of the game. But you can change it up to 120 i think. Not sure why he didnt modify the settings

Terrible comparative, the minimum to have a correct analysis is to perform on the same platform, if compared to Project Cars 2 graphics on PC with Grand Turismo Sport on PS4 the result would be 100% of Project Cars 2.

The real thing? I've visited multiple VLN races and I can assure you, Pcars2 comes about 200% closer than GTS. However I think even Assetto Corsa got a better sound for the AMG GT3, it's got the nasty V8 rattle that makes you go WTF when it flies by.

PC2 wins why because of dynamic weather. dynamic day to night what after 4 years of working on GT sport stil not have. If you say real race fan then you need a dynamic race game and not game like GT sport where every race is same. GT sport is fuck boring thx to that and stupid lap time who in your face all time where in pc2 you can move or remove every thing in your hud.
I got GT sport and looks super on my ps4 pro with Samsung 60SK7000 4k HDR tv and sound super on 9K HT set up i got. but its so boring that no dynamic in race.

Well I play on both without assists, and I'll even say that PC2 is incredible. I have driven both on wheel too. Crazy how PC2 actually has a proper physics model from a team 1/8th the the size of GTS' team.
The_Mobius_Strip exactly! The project cars 2 truly is a fantastic game. And is worlds ahead of gt sport in my opinion. So many people who haven’t played it slate it saying it’s not on level with forza 7 or gt sport seriously have no idea. Gt sport feels like an arcade compared to project cars 2.

Because its a simulator made fir a wheel and with a wheel you only use interior. Because gt sport is an arcade game and only slightly simulation it can be used with a controller which is why 3rd persin cam is used
