1. Vapour pressure of a solvent increases on adding a volatile solute because a volatile solute will lead to more vapours in the solution causing a higher pressure. On contrary, on adding a non volatile solute it decreases. 2. Chlorine is ortho and para directing even though it is electron withdrawing because chlorine withdraw electrons through inductive effect and releases electrons through resonance. “Resonance and inductive effect” in short is the reason. One can draw resonating structures to explain better. 3. Ferric Chloride when added to Phenol gives violet colouration (because of formation of iron phenol complex) and when added to benzoic acid, buff coloured ppt (ferric benzoate) is formed. We can also use Sodium carbonate test to distinguish between phenol and benzoic acid.
The Vapour pressure will decrease as the surface area for the evopration of the volatile solvent decreases hence less eveporation means less vapurs exert pressure therfore overall decrease in capour pressure Also vapour pressure is the pressure exerted by the gas in equilibrium to the walls of the container
Cl is electron widrawing but still it has+m effect due to resonance and availablity of lone pair which increases electron density at ortho and para positions in its resonating structure and hence an electrophile ptefers to attack on ortho and para positions. Hope it helped someone 😊
Phenol would react with neutral fecl3 and give violet color to the solution while no such observation would be seen in second test tube where benzoic acid is present
today, i'm serving but these videos randomly popped on my feed and left me mesmerized with my old school days! wonderful content. brilliant way to teach!
Aapki baato se smjh me aa jata hai k aapko apne subjects ki kitni deep knowledge hai. Aapko zaroor bahut achche teachers mile honge. Aur ye dekh k achcha lgta hai k koi itna knowledge wala insaan bhi hai you tube pr.
One thing I would like to point out you are doing an absolute fantastic work 👏... Comedy + Knowledge ❤ agar koi baccha reels bhi scroll kr lega apki toh uska genuinely accha khasa revision ho jayega 😊😊
Bhaiya aap hi chemistry padha do yaar❤ Lovely contents.. Just awstruck. I this era of maximum bullshit.. You are providing us with some actual knowledge added with fun and all those nostalgic memories are back. ❤ While watching your video I got nostalgic about my 12 board practicals ( especially chemistry).. My god I have cold feet till now😂❤ Lovely lovely content bhaiya. ❤🎉 Keep growing.. I wish you all the luck and happiness🎉❤
Sir Very much thankful to you... One of the reasons to watch ur vdos is this only that through u our concepts also get revised.. Keep it up sir.. Entertainment with education.. ❤
I'm currently doing mbbs or mujhe bohot nostalgia hogya ye dekhkar apna preparation phase yaad aagya😢❤...btw yt me aisa comedian bhi hai jo pdha likha hai 😂..love your vedios ❤
Wow what a rizz this person has…and this video made me remind of my 12th standard…I was such a badass in chemistry, I failed in its preboard getting something 20/100, my mother got a home tutor for me exclusively for chemistry only in the late December , and that tutor was a blessing in disguise for me at that time, he focused more on organic, I scored highest in chemistry amongst all my subjects in boards, 92, leaving my favourite subjects maths and physics in complete awestruck😭😂
for first question answer is : On addition of a non volatile solute the vapour pressure of the solution increases. for second question answer is Cl though is an EWG but still has directing influence towards O,P directions is because of the (+R effect). Third question maine poora suna nhi
Practicals were literally exhausting for me, especially viva cuz I was never told that the external would throw the unanswered questions of my grp members at me😢
Your knowledge tells it all that u studied well in class 12 , want to see u in a proper men avtar.ln this type of educational shorts v get excellent information
The answer for the 2nd is wrong cuz even though chlorine which is a halogen group has its +M effect but its a exception WHY U MAY ASK its cuz chlorine has 7 number of electron which r ready to help with resonance thats why its in ortho n para position
On my chem prac as well i told my external "solutions" padha h😂 Whtever he asked i answered correctly. At that time i didn't know that it was one the most dreaded chptr for all; only 3-4 students chose it😂

Thank youuuu. Revise ho gaya. 😂
😂😂 every question is in Sourabh Raina 's sir channel ❤
Honestly..... Thank you so much for these , I watch your videos in between my study hours and this really helped to revise.
Yaar... this was a fun video...😅

You are amazing!!!! Your videos are entertaining as well as informative.Keep going Sir. Lots of love and best wishes.
ur the teacher i never want to be interviewed by 💀💀
He has improved a lot in my subjects. I get to learn a lot through these videos.
Felt so real. Even after doing job I felt as if I am back to class 11th/12th

1.decrease on adding non-volatile bcs it causes hinderence
2.due to reasonance

Love you Sir. I am too a Chemistry Teacher and your content is so much relatable❤

Dayan hoti hai ye chemistry ki teachers 😅
This is so damn accurateeeee!!!!!
Please start making educational videos for chemistry. Your explanation n way of speaking makes it much more clear. I always struggle with chemistry.
The question that why is chlorine ortho and para director ,was asked to me by my chemistry external 😂 do relatable
Omg literally hair gesture is so accurate 😅😅
He is amazing with his knowledge ...keep it up.
Practicals were literally exhausting for me, especially viva cuz I was never told that the external would throw the unanswered questions of my grp members at me😢
Bhai sahaab best actor hai aap😂😊
School time yaad dila dia😅
Impressed with your knowledge
thanks for marking some important questions for praticals
Mere bhi viva me mere chemistry teacher ne yahi bola tha jao Pani pilo😂
Your knowledge tells it all that u studied well in class 12 , want to see u in a proper men avtar.ln this type of educational shorts v get excellent information
When non voletile solute are added the vapour pressure is directly propertional to mole fraction of solvent
Increases because solute particle got in solvent and it requires higher temp for boiling
Phenol wala test dega Ferric Chloride ka and violet colour complex form karega. Benzoic acid me koi reaction nhi hoga
Way more soothing than my chemistry sir. Ase chemistry professor miltay to AJ MSc chemistry hoti
Vapour pressure of pure solvent is constant, Vapour pressure of solution will decrease on adding non volatile solute ...
Very relatable mujhe +2 ki yaad dilva di
It really reminds me of our time 😂
😅😅😅I love keep watching u... Ur character is amazing
His hair is just.... ❤
Adjusting hair, is literally our chemistry/Bio teacher and that accent is on fire 😂😂
Ufff his smartness ❤
You are really legend❤❤❤❤
It’s been almost 7 years and I still wonder how I passed my Non medical grade 12 practicals.
The answer for the 2nd is wrong cuz even though chlorine which is a halogen group has its +M effect but its a exception WHY U MAY ASK its cuz chlorine has 7 number of electron which r ready to help with resonance thats why its in ortho n para position
My goodness! You are a truly relatable dude 😂 But yeah our teachers were not this good looking and fashionable in 2009.
Due to + R effect of lone pair on Cl, it gives o,p product despite being an ewg.
ngl the way of speaking is also accurate!! my teacher does the sameeee
I think you are chemistry teacher in real life.... ❤ love your vdeos and acting ❤
So much relatable 🥹😂😂
Bhaiyya, if possible can you please cover the teachers from the Humanities stream?
On my chem prac as well i told my external "solutions" padha h😂 Whtever he asked i answered correctly. At that time i didn't know that it was one the most dreaded chptr for all; only 3-4 students chose it😂
