Home of North Dakota State University... Go Bison!!! I moved up to Fargo a couple of months ago. They sweep the streets after the snow melts off to give the "spring cleaning " feel. As far as the winter weather.. Negative 53 degrees with a 60 mph wind. It gets BRUTAL!!
That is a legendary place I hope to get a chance to go visit. I enjoy the videos you guys do they are interesting never know what you are going to decide to do or places to visit. Getting to see the world I am sure is a lot of fun

And the Vikings discovered North America long before us Brits, and also the Irish i believe, but what is now Canada. We just colonised north America in huge numbers and settled their. Keep safe and hope things pick up for you both.
I’ve lived in Moorhead for 15 years. The buffalo are all over Fargo each painted by a different artist. The Walk Of Fame is from A “secret studio” in Moorhead. Your right about Winters here at least five times a winter we get bellow -20 and over a foot of Snow. I’m glad you liked my home town.
Fill in the bottom of the gooseneck with expanded metal I keep old mudflaps random block of wood and my spare tire s up there and the bottom side I have my rubber straps hooked all on it plus it keeps them out of the sun
I was working that area when they brought it back. Got to hear from family, crew of the trip. Bailing water was a constant project. At end, the king of Norway invited them on his yacht. A crew person remarked the ship looked low in water. Seems in excitement they didn’t keep bailing water, keeping cracks plugged. So they dove overboard to rescue their ship.
There is a Fleet and Farm south of downtown just off I29. You can do some serious damage to a Visa there. Its Tractor Supply, Academy, Home Depot and WalMart rolled into one. I guess when a square head wants to go shopping when its -40 and dosent want to drive much, a store like that can kill some serious time.
I've seen some guys cut PVC pipes and connect each bungie to each end all the way around. Keeps them untangled, neat, and organized. I do like that ammo can idea for the chains. What about your straps?
Just a FYI, when you are panning with a camera and there is something for the viewer to read it helps to stop and give time to read it. It is very different for the viewer than the photographer.. when I was doing it, I found if gave myself time to read it while looking through the view finder then the viewers usually had time to read it. The same if you just want to show something. Stop and let the viewer take it in rather than panning slowly past it. I hope this helps. Almost all RUclipsrs do the same, just because they are able to read or see the subject and don’t realize the viewers don’t have the same view of it. Great videos by the way.
With what is shown in the opening clip of the video, may someday cost you. You have two items attached to the windshield in your line of sight or the area covered by the wipers. That is a violation, "obstructed windshield" and is 1 point on your CSA score.

The police found dead people frozen in their cars under snow drifts last winter in Fargo. 😬 It was brutal!

Winters do SUCK. It's cold, and always windy. Fargo windy isn't GA windy. The wind is probably the worse thing about Fargo.
Yes everything is new. Every winter large 30' high snow glaciers wipe everything away into the Mississippi and then they rebuild it all in spring 👍🏻👍🏻
The Red River gets 3 feet deep and 15 miles wide.
What I do with the bungee straps is hook them on a PVC pipe cut it about an inch longer than the straps

Invest in higher ply trailer tires. Add the green liquid fix a flat to each tire. It will help.
