    Wonderful, I had read creeping buttercup was rain pollination and was looking for confirmation of this

      New to me that it stayed open when it was damp when the other two close over Karen!

    Another brilliant video. I showed this to my students. We then went to identify the buttercups in our school field. We all thought it was fascinating. Thanks very much.

    Excellent video, didn't realize there are 3 species of this menace. It is very welcome in the lawn, not so much in the border.

      p.p. John Feehan: Creeping Buttercup is the real menace here John, if that gets into your border it's hard to get out.

    Amazing how those common plants that can be considered weeds in some situations often have such fascinating qualities. A field of clones, all pollinated by the rain, interesting!
    On thing that could make this even better would have been some close ups of the buttercups when describing their leaves. An enjoyable video though, and there are always books to see the details.

    I absolutely love these videos, and John Feehan too. He is so invcredibly knowledgeable. Every horticultural, Agricultural, botany and ecology college course should be sharing these videos. Thank you for them, They are a great collection that will endure. Please keep making them!
