I live in Washington State in the United States. West Coast and this area looks so much like where Iam from. I grew up in the back country. My family lived off the land and I built my own little shelters with what nature provided. I love watching you and your builds. It is so magical.

This reminds me of my childhood. As long as there was daylight, I was out doing things like this. (Obviously not at this level, but in the same spirit.). In the winter, I made snow forts with multiple rooms. I miss the days before smart phones. ❤ from 🇨🇦

how mind-boggling and yet pure and obvious and awesome would it be to see this level of bushcraft on Alone? in any country? do they not even look at the viewership of youtube channels like this (albeit with a gorgeous dog) and not understand just how much more exciting these experiences can be and how much people love this? sorry for the rant. anyway, mind both delighted and blown at your adventure and skills, and much love to your dog.
Sheba the dog is truly the star of the show. Just like my dog I have to pick his paws up to clean. He doesn't move. That dog is beautiful 😍 ❤❤ I like when he plays with dog and shows love ❤️
Please note, check the trees for limbs that could come down at any time. They are called, Widow Makers for a reason! Also, don't use rocks that have been soaking in water, seek the rounder ones for around your fire. Flat slate and unstable limestone can have pockets of water and air in them which expands and can make the rock explode. Rounder rocks are going to be the harder ones like Granit. These rocks are called igneous and metamorphic rocks that are distinguished from sedimentary rocks because they are typically more difficult to disaggregate. Well cemented sedimentary rocks are sometimes described as being hard, but are usually called soft rock. I enjoy this mans creativity and drive!

You only have 1 backpack, how do you keep all that fresh meat in it without being spoiled? Not to mention the eggs, and the fresh vegetables... Love how simple you make things look like, very skilled ❤
I wonder this, too! Perhaps the backpack has an insulated cooled compartment? Maybe he has some type of ice pack too? I imagine the nighttime can get fairly cold, which may play a part in keeping things chilled. I'm very curious!
in my younger years I would have loved doing stuff like this. but I do have my creature comforts that I can't live without: deep hot baths, body scrubs, shampoo, TP, warm clothing, and stuff to avoid the rain, tomatoes, and sweet tea. Well, that's my favs based on my old age, I guess. In my teens for a summer job I'd de-tassel corn in the seed cornfields. We'd be up at 4am to catch a ride to the fields by the crack of dawn. The dew would be heavy and by the time we finished the first round, we'd dripping wet and shivering. Over the years at work, I frostbit my fingers and toes and in my old age they get very cold. Thanks for sharing!

Love this doggy. He patiently waiting untill owner feed him and never complain about amount of the food he gets. Didn't hear a bark throughout the video. ❤❤❤

I wonder this, too! Perhaps the backpack has an insulated cooled compartment? Maybe he has some type of ice pack too? I imagine the nighttime can get fairly cold, which may play a part in keeping things chilled. I'm very curious!

in my younger years I would have loved doing stuff like this. but I do have my creature comforts that I can't live without: deep hot baths, body scrubs, shampoo, TP, warm clothing, and stuff to avoid the rain, tomatoes, and sweet tea. Well, that's my favs based on my old age, I guess.
In my teens for a summer job I'd de-tassel corn in the seed cornfields. We'd be up at 4am to catch a ride to the fields by the crack of dawn. The dew would be heavy and by the time we finished the first round, we'd dripping wet and shivering. Over the years at work, I frostbit my fingers and toes and in my old age they get very cold.
