Im 53. I wasnt introduced to bts through the group music. But through jungkooks standng next too u. I saw that he was a member of bts. Then i watched the guide to bts. I bc curious. I then saw jimins like crazy. I didnt like dynamite so much. But liked permission to dance. I then fell down the rabbt hole as ppl would say. Lol

fake love is the best vid to start with! its just so incredible! i'll never be over it. this was nice to watch! though its a bit weird that you pointed out all the members names except for V. tae's so amazing. i love his parts in this song so much.

But in the fictional Bangtan Universe his mother is less good.
the BU is a little complicated:
MVs (Japanese/Korean), On Stage: prologue, Wings short films, Love Yourself: Highlight Reel, Notes/books, a webtoon (Save Me), a mobile game (discontinued unfortunately) and a new K-Drama called "Begins ≠ Youth" (I think about 12 episodes have dropped but there may be 12 more next year or so)

Sorry for some of the rude commenters, yikes! On Kinetic Manifesto is a must I think. After that, I feel like it depends on her music tastes. A live Dimple would be fun, a live Magic Shop or other ballad? Black Swan mv is a personal favorite. Fire is a blast… Can’t wait to see more.

Taylor Mari's intro "Bangtan 7" is very good if maybe a little long
If you have truly time "The Rise of Bangtan"-series can teach a lot (the Bonus is funny).
I also like accounts like bby gang mag and his video essays.
BTS is a little complicated and makes you think if you dig only a little.
A lot of songs have explained vids like from DKDKTV or Bookish Theories. The chanel "Don't Worry I'm not Afraid" has a good vid to "Blood, Sweat & Tears" and Italian Army has "What you still don't Know about BTS Spring Day".
RM dropped his second official album - he also has 2 mixtapes (RM and Mono) - just now "Right Place Wrong Person" - the main MV is "Lost" but he has vids for 4 more songs -he is a bit of an Indie artist and highly intellectual. Well... usually... there is at least one song where he is very angry and curses a lot...
Since she liked Jin the MV you need is "the Astonaut" - his way of saying Army is his home and will come back (with Coldplay).
The members will be back in 2025 and Jin will be there in a few days - military service is mandatory in SK.
Maybe ask for a genre she wants to hear?

"Fake Love" is on the second of three albums of the "Love Yourself"-series:
Serendipity -> DNA -> Outro: Her (from a first meeting that seems like fate to full blown heavily in love and ending with the promise to do everything for this love including to change to be perfect for it)
-> Singularity -> Fake Love -> Outro: Tear (knowledge that something is wrong/you hurt but stil in denial of why to aknowledging the pain and the pain - outweighing the love - breaking the relationship - you after all did not give the other person a chance to meet/love the real you - if you still know who that is now - to looking at the emotions after the broken relationship: pain & anger & fear)
-> Epiphany -> Idol (you have to love your imperfect self first before you love others to celebration of self-love)
And since you have to "Know Yourself" to be able to "Love Yourself" we have in the next albums Carl Jung's psychology on "The Map of the Soul"

actually i wonder if it's just that it's not as obvious when artists in the west wear contact lenses. eg, J.Lo wears contact lenses to make her eyes look a lighter shade of brown and probably the irises are bigger which helps her look younger i'm sure. i am not sure but i believe Rihanna, same thing, i saw her in person before she was super huge, her eyes are light brown, but it's possible they look like they are lighter via contact lenses and not just flash photography/lighting. there's a reactor who i can tell wears lighter contact lenses, after seeing pictures from when he was younger. it's just more obvious when kpop artists go slightly lighter, since it's rarer in the asian population not to have dark brown or brown/black eyes, and when lighter it's more striking.
