I was a little girl when this commercial came out and I am an 80"s baby. I found this video about two years ago, never thought I find it. Truly old school and I LOVE IT! I was looking for the name of the preacher who said "who in the hell left the gate open?" and found this video thank you brings back memories.

I’m here for this walk down memory lane.
Singlehandedly the greatest gospel album. This was my introduction to Shirley Caesar, Aretha Franklin, The Winans, The Clark Sisters, Rev. James Cleveland, Sam Cooke..so many to name. I first heard this album in '87 when I was 3.

Growing up in the '80's, my parents blasted this album almost every Sunday Morning when we were kids!
I'm white and Jewish, and I only know this album exists because I watched reruns of 227 on BET. And while it wasn't my religious message, I could sense the inspiration.
