Decent Christmas ad from Boots this year. I’d have preferred the gift to have been revealed and to have related in some way to the narrative / flashbacks. But overall, a good effort.

Literally - you need to remind yourself of the real meaning of Christmas, which, incidentally involves a couple of Jewish refugees taking their baby to Africa
Poor Christmas advert from a very mediocre business (these days). I can see the heartstrings it's trying to pull at but it doesn't quite do it. The views I mention are unbiased without taking into consideration Boots' dire attempt of a summer advert ripping off "I wish it could be Christmas every day" and effectively parodying it into some out of season clown fest. To quote the description of this advert "It's about old memories" ("and the new ones you're yet to make"). Isn't "I wish it could be Christmas every day" an "old memory" that comes back every year? Yet when it's summer, boot's are on the whole anything to make a profit attitude? (which judging by views, and the thumbs down's, failed miserably). Very contradictory bringing an "old memory" into summer. Boot's isn't what it used to be, and to be quite frank, if it wasn't for the amount of shops on the high street and lack of competition (yes superdrug try and do the same thing, but not to such a large scale), we would be waving goodbye to yet another high street well known name.
