I should've watched your video before playing but for the sake of having suspense I played it randomly I need to play this level again following your pattern.

If you run in one direction for 1.5 seconds, the Claw becomes a bit faster and his jumps a bit higher. This hidden mechanic is called "running leap" or "running speed". Of course you need to watch out for spikes in this particular place.

I've used the music from "Get Medieval" - another game from Monolith made in late 90's. It was composed by the same two gentlemen Daniel Bernstein and Guy Whitmore, that made music for Claw.
