A Gaud Saraswat Brahmin here, from South Goa. It's a proud feeling for the entire community, and even the state for that matter, whenever people from across the country take interest into our culture and cuisine. Thank you for giving our food some space on your platform!!
Saraswat cuisine is the best among all fish receipies.. I have eaten fish at other states, types but didn't like much. I miss my grandmother's food. Typical sarswati food with divine taste.. Even i still remember dhondus, sasav etc damn good vegetarian dishes
Very few know that the catholic community from Mangalore is from the GSB community. Being one from Bamon. The cuisine and food is similar to the food that we have at our homes and prepared during festivities. I am glad to know that these cuisines are not dying by the influence and introduction of the global cuisines. Great work team Khane main kya hai to show the hidden treasures!!! Kudos!!
Thank you Sapna Sardesai for giving GSB cuisine the attention it deserves. Uddamethi and tisryanche sukhe need be on every menu! Thanks Kunal for this episode
Goan Saraswat food is something even we Catholics drool about. As kids and even now we Goan dont cook for Charurty coz we get this parcels from all neighbors and we look forward every year. We actually have to fix days with friends that for Chaturti or Dewali we will be having lunch or dinner coz other days is for our other friends. It's an awesome experience we never miss non veg.

What an array of seafood!! Love the Konkani cuisine which is akin to the Konkani food in Karnataka. Well done Kunal for showcasing another dimension of Goan food. Thank you!! Special thanks to Ms Sardesai for introducing Kokum Curry in keeping with the authentic Goan jevan.
GSB cuisine is super delicious & they tend to preserve the natural taste of the core ingredient. The seafood is treated with the respect &delicacy it deserves. All of the dishes in this episode were drooliscious & had such a nice fresh look to them too. The lovely lady explained the cuisine in such an interesting way. Makes one want to head out to Candolim. Lucky lucky Kunal !!
Wow Awesome mouth watering dishes. I remember my childhood when we were eagerly waiting for the Ganesh chaturthi and Diwali to taste the super delicious moong ghati , choneacho ross etc given by our lovely hindu neighbours. Good to find such dishes served in restaurant and keeping our culture alive. Thanks to Kokum Curry.
Hi Kunal, Thanks for showing us such goan receipes which most of the people are not aware of. There was huge spread on the table and i hope you have enjoyed all of them.
Kokum Curry! The name itself makes your mouth water. I had been there with my family once. The food was really awesome and delicious! The taste of each and every item in the Thali is so unique that it just stays with you. I must appreciate Mrs.sardesai (The chief chef), who personally looks into the kitchen as well the dinning hall. I recommend everyone to visit this place atleast once.
