      Sir I am a 9th class student and I've a doubt that a simple pendulum has a time period of 2 sec at the earth's surface. if it is taken to a height equal Re, above the earth's surface, where Re is the radius of the earth, find the time period.

      Work done is force × displacement
      So how electric work is done??
      Because in case of electricity there is no displacement..
      So how the electric work is done??

      @@jayantideshpande8459in a closed circuit workdone is of two types one is due to chemical mechanism of battery and other is movement of electrons due to electric potential
      In physics we consider due to electric potential in wire
      W= F.d, F = qe so e× d is dv
      W=q dv here d is net distance or displacement between two electrodes
      Here we just pass electrons from negative terminal to +ve terminal not within the battery
      If we add both work done( p and c) then net is 0

    Johannes Kepler was a mathematician, astronomer, astrologer, and natural philosopher . In short , he was a true allrounder and knowledge seeker . A simple example of how a good student can also achieve great things . A complete contrast of how Einstein was with his teachers and school . Both are great and it simply proves a point , one needs to invest time in seeking knowledge in a proper manner , it will never go waste 🙂

    Two blocks of same mass are hanging from pully one is hanging vertically another is kept on a plane and makes angle theta at the pully. If the 2nd one is moving with a1 acceleration the first one will move with a1cos theta or a1cos theta - v1 sin theta dteta/dt

    Sir i think temperature and time are proportional to each other as motion of molecules stops when we freeze something and motion of molecules accelerate when we increase temp .
    So do all the molecules freeze when we set temp to -273kelvin? i know this temp is imaginary.

    Consider a mass-pulley system. There is a wedge of mass M and equal wedge angles θ lying on a rigid horizontal table. The coefficient of friction between the wedge and the table is µ. There are two blocks of mass m1 and m2 lying on the incline of the wedge. The coefficients of friction between the blocks and wedge are µ1 and µ2 as shown in the figure. Consider m1 > m2 and the coefficients of friction (µ, µ1 and µ2) to be less than tan θ. Gravity is acting mi downwards with acceleration due to gravity g. What should be the value of so that the system m1/m2 is in equilibrium?

      It is T square proportional to R cube ...not equal to R cube...one more thing ...it is "a" not R ....I e. Semi major axis of elliptical trajectory of the planet
