Hello I paid for the bootcamp, I have been doing it a lot longer than 6 weeks as my back is still not where it needs to be but I like the videos and there is improvement, but now the videos are not working. Can you help?
Thank you!!!
3 months ago I went to see an Osteopath who did manipulation on my upper lumbar spine and ever since that session, I'm unable to sleep. The minute my body drifts to sleep, my heart would start racing and I end up waking up. I hardly get to sleep as a result. Is this a normal response to the treatment? Is this something that can be reversed? According to the Osteopath, she worked on the area that has an important influence on the respiratory diaphragm to which the heart is connected. .She said had increasing the motion of my diaphragm and upper lumbar spine which would have had an influence on any soft tissue pulling on the connective tissues surrounding my heart!
Hi GeeGee. This isn't a normal response but the body does respond in many different ways to the release of tension. I have never seen this myself. It could definitely happen as a result of spinal manipulation if you resisted the manipulation without realising. What your osteopath has said is correct in the osteopathic / chiropractic science, but it should have settled down after 3 months for sure.
I would also suggest you check with your doctor, as this is a very unusual response, and should have resolved itself by now if it was related to the osteopathic treatment. So there may be something else underlying that needs checking. If the Doctor clears you, I would suggest you learn some deep relaxation techniques and also some gentle yoga movements to stretch out and relax your diaphragm and back muscles. Best wishes, Coby
Hi I’m trying to contact you but your emails bounce back, is there another way to get hold of you please, I am a customer. Many thanks
Hello Mark 👋 Apologies, my website is being rebuilt and my emails have malfunctioned in the domain transfer. I noticed yesterday that you paid twice for Back Pain Bootcamp and have refunded you one payment yesterday. Is that what you needed help with? Warmest wishes, Coby
