I feel like the velocity graph fro #8 is wrong. Shouldn't it the graph flat line at the point where the slope of the position is constant for a while and then fall back down to zero? Graph 8 is just graphs 5 & 6 combined.

Yeah, it would be shown that way if the graph was divided into three dotted line sections. Each half is being represented as a whole, that’s all.
Like we’re considering the two motions as a whole
