I love the presets you create & use a lot of them. The one question I always have & it is likely more self doubt is are there any tweaks I should make for using them live into a PA. I'm going from Helix to a direct box then the PA. I only really hear what is in my in ears sometimes it seems a little harsh it could also be ear fatigue after playing 2 sets the next 2 my ears are done even at a reasonable volume. People say my tone it great but it may be just in my head self doubt.
I always gig check my presets at gig volume , usually it’s best to put a cali graphic EQ in the preset ( before or after the cab ) if I haven’t already put it in , this will help you “ easy tweak “ at a gig . Each guitar / amp / monitor / PA is different, but usually you’ll be fine .

@@JonnyLeeguitarist I remember this Effect now. It's a dual Effect, one part being the Overdrive, and the other being a Fuzz. The Fuzz tone is really bright, so I switched the Cab Mic to the 84 Ribbon. As you mentioned, there is a lot of Gain on tap. Between the Gain, Bright Fuzz, and big incremental changes in the Levels, I find it difficult to dial in tone I like. You got better much results than I could get.

@@JonnyLeeguitarist I was messing around with the Grammatico on my HX Stomp, and the Dhyana Drive I was using just wasn't doing I wanted so I scrolled through the different available ODs just listening tohow their tones affected my Preset. Surprisingly, the Hedgehog caught my attention, even though most ODs are not supposed to pair well with Dumble Amps. I got some awesome tones. Even one with the Gain on the Hedgehog turned all the way down. Thanks for doing a video on the Hedgehog.

Belter. 🎸 Quick question luv. FM worth it v Helix? I’m using the Tonex for amp sim so would only use the fx side. I’ve got half me set up on separate pedals but I may as well get them in an all in one. For just FX, the HX as good as the FM? Does this even make sense? Hope so! 😎🙏
It kinda makes sense 😂. I would always encourage anyone to buy an FM9 😎. Tone X is great with an HX stomp , but I genuinely prefer the Fractal FM9.

Two really cool presets. I use it with my Gibson LP with PAF Style Pickups - sounds awesome. Instead of the Kinky Boost i always use the Tube Comp (Thresh 0,8 Level 0,2 ) in the same position. Give it a try. !

On fire jonny. That fuzz could kills mosquitos at 50 metres. Especially liked the first preset. Thats getting put on. A bit more dsp i could load all your presets.
