Based on the average hospital bill for a 2-3 week stay, in an ICU, I would strongly disagree and says there's quite a bit of money in "natural Immunity". Of course, if you are one of the lucky people who have only mild symptoms or no symptoms at all, this may be true. And it's also true that most people probably won't wind up in the ICU, but if you're one of those unfortunate folks who do, the cost, and profits, will greatly exceed that of the $2.95 pfizer vaccine. So, there's definitely big money in "natural immunity".

I don't know why I only just found this video, but I want to thank you for posting it.
I was sick with the original variant for 5 days. Couch bound. But not sick enough to go to the doctor, let alone the hospital. Loaded up with C, D and zinc because that's always been the drill for me and my family. OTC meds kept the symptoms down enough that I could do the chores that can't be put off.
A day after I felt better? Yeah, everything was off kilter.
Arrhythmia for months bad enough to wake me from a sound sleep, fatigue, hacking up buckets of clear phlegm every morning. It's been 22 months and my lungs are better, but not as better as they were.
People have been telling me to get vaccinated. Just do it, they say. They call me irresponsible for refusing, because even if I'm more immune than they are, I _could_ be even safer if I get jabbed.
I keep telling them I've already had my fill of that spike protein. One of my sisters got so mad when I said I wasn't getting vaccinated, she shouted into the phone and hung up on me.
Yes, the risk of long COVID from vaccination is small, and 56% higher than a small percentage is still a small percentage. But it's just not worth it for me. Even if it means I can't board an aircraft or dine in at a restaurant.
And frankly, it gives me an excuse to not have to see my in-laws. :)

Karen, it's good to see you on this thread. I really would encourage you to get vaccinated because there is the possibility that the vaccine can produce even stronger antibodies than the natural infection can give you; essentially you would be in Dr. Campbell's "ideal" category of having both natural and vaccine immunity.
I'm terribly sorry to hear that you had such nasty symptoms and you don't feel as optimal as you used to be. That being said, perhaps it's a good time to quit smoking (if you hadn't already). I've found it difficult to get exercise during this pandemic and my cardiovascular fitness isn't optimal either.
I haven't tested positive and I got vaccinated despite a stern dislike for needles. When I met a group of high-school boys in public earlier on in the pandemic, and heard how they could barely play sports or attend any events, I realized that this cause was greater than myself.
      Best health.

"That being said, perhaps it's a good time to quit smoking (if you hadn't already)."
And here I thought we all agreed that stress depresses the immune system. If I do quit, I'll wait until after all of this is over and things are back to normal.
"I've found it difficult to get exercise during this pandemic and my cardiovascular fitness isn't optimal either."
We have a treadmill, weights and an exercise ball, and there's plenty of moderately heavy work to be done around the house. Plenty of opportunity to exercise and stay fit. But you know, when you're worried about having a heart attack from carrying a full laundry basket, you're not going to be doing workouts.
And in fact, people with heart inflammation are told to avoid ANY strenuous activities because they can end up dropping dead.
The reality is, I couldn't exercise, even if I wanted to.

Yeah, anyone can get totally lost in i statistics if they dig into it. I don't know anyone who really knows what's going on; yet most people just accept the narrative because they're ignorant or naive. But it's in everyone's power to take a stand for what is ethically correct, yet we see mandatory vaccination be supported by the everyday Joe. And he'll argue with you that the correct thing to do is to make sure everyone is vaccinated at all costs because it will save lives and that's ethical. But putting aside the fact that he is ignorant (since it's not that simple), I believe in reality he just wants things to go back to normal for his own comfort. So no true ethical values to be found there. If you ever wondered where you would have stood in 1930s Germany, now you know.

I’m sure this guy is well intentioned and honest, but the society that brought him to his current position is being disassembled, for no - or let’s say minimal - apparent benefit. • @thomassurdi1

The test showed high natural immunity levels. During my check up with my doctor, we discussed natural immunity and vaccines. She said my natural immunity was sufficient and I did not require the vaccine. She offered a booster if I wanted, to increase immunity, but I declined the shot. She was just fine with my decision. Although I can follow with the data and the findings seem valid and are certainly interesting, what this video fails to acknowledge is that, to have natural immunity, you first of all have to survive a first infection and get through it without life-threatening symptoms and possible longterm damage to the body to have the benefits of it. Older and more vulnerable people cannot rely on their natural immunity to protect them like (most) healthy young people can. Not to mention the pressure we put on healthcare systems when we all get infected at the same time (which is what happened during the first waves). It's nice to see clear and non-judgemental content about this, so people can make a well-educated choice in the matter for themselves, but you do need to paint the whole picture.

Despite Suva. high level of cvaccination, they are now seeing houses of cases a day in the double vaccinated! This is a sever cold virus, it IS going to infect everyone and 99% of people will already have benign fetched, which means they will already have natural immunity!!!

It's not as straight forward as that. Don't omit. A) the study was against the delta variant. The vaccines and delta emerged about the same time, so vaccines couldn't cover that and b) as quoted The study shows the benefits of natural immunity, but “doesn’t take into account what this virus does to the body to get to that point,”. In other words, you might survive and gain that immunity, but you might also not or have life long issues.
I mean, in the end it's your choice whether you think the risk of getting covid in order to gain immunity is safer than the risk of taking a vaccine.

I had 102 fevers, chills, congestion, coughing; I felt awful. I did sleep when I could on my stomach, which did help. The second infection Beginning Sept 2021, I did not take prescriptions. I was already taking zinc, C, D, Tumeric mix, And no matter what, I did get direct sunlight even if it was from a window for a short period every day. I also stretched, walked about the second time, and took a couple of short hot steamy showers because it is very dry here.
The moisture seems to help. It lasted about 7 days, four of which were very, very mild, more annoying than feeling sick.
My niece (vaccinated) exposed me, who had no symptoms until day four after getting tested. She was informed her friends tested positive. She then tested positive and then had symptoms. 11members of our family in the 5 different homes and two states she had visited on her trip all caught COVID ages 2- 80. No one else was vaccinated, no one was hospitalized. No one under 19 had any symptoms. I will say I was terrified of the unknown the first time. Once again, thank you, Dr. Campbell.
I appreciate how you have taken data and conclusions from the #CDC and from #Israel in an unbiased way and subjected both to the same critical analysis and scientific understanding that will benefit people in the general public. What you are doing is highly appreciated.
It has been my pleasure to share your videos as recommendations on Twitter, where I have a small following.
All the best for your future efforts.

Asking yourself the question of why getting a vaccine after infection increases the risk of reactions and hospitalizations would be a good idea.
And also you may want to ask yourself what would be the result if the next varient has no resemblance to these proteins and what happens when another vaccine is created but the body still has to make these proteins, will it hinder production of future resistance due to the production of this vaccine is taking some of the creative resources for immunity.
The natural immunity used the memory b cells as a library and T cells as a call for the library to activate, the vaccine doesn't do that and i would like to know if the reduced immunity from vaccination is the stopping of production or the proteins or just the body is ignoring the request.
If you never asked yourself these questions before vaccination then you didn't do the type of considerations as many of us did.

The truth is it's probably a lot worse than that, I saw a few months back that a study in Germany was looking into how they suspected the mRna vaccines could rewrite your immune system leaving you vulnerable to things you have already built up immunity to, however I never saw any conclusions or follow ups on this study, seems to have been hushed away which is odd as the start of the study was in the main stream media.

Are you sure the vaccines don't do that? A vaccine triggers the immune system, and teaches it to react to an antigen. Surely, the mechanism for doing that is the same - which is why I've had trouble believing that a vaccine can do that better than the virus it's meant to protect against.

Main problem with pandemic is it shifted from medical issue to political issue and questions are not allowed. Yes discussions about graphene oxide tubes and 5g transmitters in vaccines are dumb but censoring everything will not convince tinfoil hats but make others suspicious that something is fishy when so heavy handed approach is used. We moved from education to something that looks like religious zealotry and its making people nervous and suspicious. Nevertheless i never understand statement that vaccine immunity is better then natural immunity because vaccine is just safer introduction of pathogen to body bud body will make immune response which is again natural but limited by scope because is only used part of pathogen not whole. In other words natural infection with live virus give you inadequate protection (even if you body cleared virus without you even knowing) but injection of fraction of viral RNA of same virus make immune response so much greater and better, it make no sense. I always believed that vaccines was for simulating infection without risking actual illness forcing body to develop immunity.

However...Vaccination coupled with "natural infection" is superior to either alone.

Here in America only 1 agenda is being pushed. My oldest daughter had covid and only lost her taste and smell and had a few headaches. My youngest had the delta. She did pass it to me. We both had stomach virus symptoms accompanied with respiratory symptoms and a cough that lasted a month. After speaking with our doctor we were informed we now have immunity to that strain of covid. My husband never caught it! He worked the entire pandemic, exposed several times and now he has antibodies as well even though he never got sick. Why people aren't talking about the natural immunity I will never know!!

People are talking about - meaning it is mentioned who tested positive and is asymptomatic. An example is Pink’s husband. As natural immunity is an unpredictable bonus that some have and hundreds of millions are hospitalized and people in general have more interest in preventing misery and death and what they can do about it.

Immunity resulting from COVID-19 infection needs to be acknowledged and this should be reflected in public health policy immediately rather than implementing sweeping mandates that ignore the latest evidence. What about those who haven’t gotten Covid yet?

    • @cedric7751
      @cedric7751 3 года назад +11

It is acknowledged by science and has always been since the invention of vaccines. Vaccines are nothing more than a mild version of the virus meant to trigger the body's immune reaction without getting infected by the real virus. Vaccine induced immunity and virus induced immunity are the same thing and they are both "natural".
Why do we still do vaccination?
      Easy:
If 100 persons get infected by the corona, about 3 will die, the 97 others will have a much greater resistance to it as a result of the previous infection. Note that those 97 persons may experience lasting side effects from the initial infection. Decrease in lung capacity, loss of smell, chronic fatigue and other long lasting effects have been reported.
If 100 persons get vaccinated, 0 will die and 100 will develop a resistance to the virus that is lower than what you'd get with a real infection but still considered enough to make further infection non lethal and also greatly reduce the risks of experiencing lasting side effects.
Yes, natural immunity exists it's a fact that is well known and documented in scientific literature (and no, nothing is hidden to the public by evil money hungry lobbies, everything is available on google scholar, sci-hug, scienceopen, etc and has ALWAYS BEEN) , however getting natural immunity comes with much greater risks than getting a shot of vaccine.
Vaccines have a much better risk/reward balance than getting natural immunity, that's all.
If you are young and healthy your odds of getting natural immunity without dying or any sequel are highly favorable (still worse than with a vaccine, tho) but don't jump to the wrong conclusion that vaccines are just useless and nothing more than a money grab for labs.

@@cedric7751 1 in 100 won't die and it's quite spurious. Maybe 1 in 100 over 80 yr olds with pre existing conditions won't die. 1 in 100 healthy people who aren't overweight below 65 won't die (0 will die). The application of these generalised stats aren't helpful and if anything are misleading, because every person need to assess their own risk based on their personal health status and associated potential outcomes. I decline the vaccine because I look at the hospitalisation and body count for extremely fit and healthy 40 yr olds and I doubt we'll get 1 in a million. You assess your own risk
