You're a legend at story telling Robin. I just loved it. It was very funny and entertaining. Poor ole Jack is probably still getting sticky buns in prison, just a different kind lmao.. I think you should do the 3 little pigs next, that would be pretty epic. Fantastic video as always!!
Maybe a small cloud ☁️ set up to hide the stalk connection and some avatar legs for the giant to make him taller. I really enjoyed this story and installation.
Great build! Would be funny to have a repair worker on the roof of @sweat looking up at the giant with a shocked expression! Also, now I feel like that gingerbread man on the coffee shop advert should be running around the city somewhere!
This was such a tragic tale, if only the giant had called the Super-Secret Police (Wooo Wooo Wooo!) to report the thief in his home this tragic tale would have been avoided. 🤣
@@RobinHoodBricks It's definitely a childhood memory for me. For a moment I thought you might be putting the Giant's home up there, as well. The subject of a floating city having been brought up before.
😂 This is great! Also thanks for including the number of the duplo part 31064! Edit: Just a thought about your city, maybe a small cloud between the two leaves pieces could be nice to hide the attachment and make it look like it goes really high. It looks goods even without, that's just a thought I had.
1:33 😂😂😂 This was all hilarious - especially Duplo part 31064. Well all of it was brilliant, the cost of living crisis, the duplo parts, lazy Jack playing video games… 😂😂 It was honestly ridiculously funny, it made my day! Oh and the build was funny and great as well!
Not checked if anyone else has suggested this but would look awesome with a Castle Facade at the top of the Bean Stalk behind the Giant but small to give a false perception of depth as if the castle was off in the distance on the clouds
Super funny “new” story 😂😂! Like the parts you used. Golden bananas just like the prize in your stunts. That’s what the city needed a very tall and something that stands out. 😃😮 Super funny today!!!! 😂😅😂 JJ F
Just hilarious and another lovely silly scene added! I like that cloud suggestion to cover up that connection between the vines, that could work maybe. Anyway, thanks for a great laugh Robin!
The spot it is in is perfect. I saw this suggestion in another comment but I reckon that adding a minifigure on top of @Sweat looking up at the Beanstalk would look epic.
Lean the bean stalk a little more, change the 1by 1 to a more inside of a plant cover and attach a few similarly colored dots and square 1 by 1s to show a more hacked at look.
How you could incorporate all the story element in with each other, the cow daisy has the evil ninja Villan riding on her down the street, Jack's mother is on the other side of the train tracks holding the pastry and the video game controller looking very cross and there are police coming to arrest Jack.
I liked the story, it was really entertaining. The build makes very good use of the space with a nice splash of color from the vine. For suggestions, maybe a bit of rainbow could be grafted onto the cloud? If you find the white not standing out enough maybe just a hint of grey plates on the back behind the giant would help hint at more depth. Maybe one of those beveled plates with the two corners cut off. The shadows from the overhead lights help with giving the bottom edge some definition. The top kind of blends into the wall and with the angle of the giant kind of looks like he is flying vs standing on the clouds. Though maybe it comes down to in person vs camera and the viewing angles. Or maybe one or two small green vine like bits near the giant on the cloud- maybe curling from behind him to droop over the top cloud edge?
To be honest it's better in real life. The camera really picked up the glare of the main lighting on the white. The camera tried to compensate and it looked over exposed at times. Close up it's no problem. A rainbow sounds fun but is it too low down? Seven colours may be tricky too!
😂 Nice use of the vine pieces... re the placement... a bit close to the railway - would it look better near the farm? Mayber put a magic bean stall somewhere on the roadside?
Looks good Robin. It's a nice touch and a bit of fun. Maybe the goose that laid the golden egg can be running away from the bottom of the beanstalk... Perhaps Chicken suit guy if you have him
What a fantastic story!!!! Where do I know it from... 🤔😆 A suggestion; Jack and his story will be more recognisable if he is half way, let's say on the connection of the two Duplo vine pieces! 😅
Maybe I am crazy but I feel like a James and the Giant Peach inspired scene on the open wall next to the cloud would be good fun. But I couldn't possibly make you even consider building a seagull army for such a thing!
I love it. Great use of space. Would a small cottage facade next to the base be possible? Like the wall, window and a bit of roof? The empty space of wall between the beanstalk and @Sweat caught my eye.
Are you sure jack isn't from brick bulwell? He'll be trying to fence ahem, I mean sell them down by brick trinity Square before catching the number 17 back home. No doubt calling in at some trade ex shop for more games. Very good robin. How did you manage not to laugh?
@@RobinHoodBricks or I’ll share it right now The story is about a 14 year princess name Isabelle (nickname is Izzy) living in her seaside castle with their parents and big sister, she one day come across a small cove and see a 14 year merman who was visiting to find human things.
