    Hi Paul, great video thanks for sharing it. Should the battery be disconnected when doing this? I’m needing to check/clean the connections in the hope if resolves an issue with 6000cd not always turning on at ignition and not always showing date and time. 😊

    Evening Paul.
    Watched your videos for a long while now, very informative and very clear.
    I have a transit connect related problem.
    I have the clocks, transponder, ignition barrel, ecu and key along with the engine from a 08 focus. I want to know if I put this all into a 2010 connect will it run at 115? Or what is needed thereafter? I done the kkda conversion about a year ago with an engine from a cmax whilst using the connect ecu etc.

    • @PaulsTechChannel
      @PaulsTechChannel  2 года назад

      Unfortunately Focus PCM (engine ECU) is not compatible with Connect's GEM module or ABS/ESP. You can use KKDA turbo - (require wiring added for actuator & MAF sensor.) You'll also require connects 110ps CAT as they are different to connect 75 & 90ps. Fit 4M5Q-9F593-AD injectors. Upload Connect 110ps calibration to PCM. Once you've done that. You can then remap for higher BHP/Torq.

    Hi Paul,I've just been reading a post of yours on a transit forum. I have a bit of a problem with my mk 7 transit. I fitted an android stereo to it a few days ago and all was well. Today I turned it up full whack and the stereo died( the fuse was ok). But all my dials have gone .its lighting up but no speedo,fuel gauge rev counter, temperature gauge or stereo. All the fuses seem ok. Have you any suggestions for me please before i call an auto electrician. Thanks Eddie

    Hi, I’ve got the poverty spec mondeo edge 1.6 tdci with this same small red screen clocks. The screen has completely stopped working so I do need to replace them. I too need to confirm with you that the immobiliser code is stored elsewhere in the car and also is it worth upgrading from the small screen to either the larger red screen or the colour convers screen?

      Mondeo mk4 Immobilizer is coded to PCM (Engine ECU) and BCM (Body Control Module) You can easily swap cluster without effecting immobilizer. See video at 4:13

    My clusters digital display in the center has twice now gone blank. It's still illuminate with an orange band along the bottom but everything else on the display is black/showing no information. When i turn everything off, lock the doors and the display completely turned off it will come back on again when i start up. I'm worried because the display is still illuminated that it's gonna be a computer issue and not the display itself. Any thoughts? I would like to upgrade to a titanium cluster now i see it's possible.

    Did it continue to work straight away as a straight swap or was there anything else you needed to do afterwards? Does the mileage carry over as I remember doing it a few times in the past on vectras and the mileage was stored in the dials rather than in the cars ECU? They look so much better than the standard ones. Many thanks

      The question is , what parts from f9da are the same like kkda . - crankshaft, pistons ? Block ?

    • @PaulsTechChannel
      @PaulsTechChannel  2 года назад

      Main difference between F9DA and KKDA is fuel system - F9DA use Delphi fuel pump with Dephi injectors. KKDA use Siemens fuel pump with Siemens injectors. Also cylinder compression ratio, is not the not same for both engines.
