Lots of great nuggets in this episode.. And to just pick one tiny thing to comment on I will use the very brief discussion about LUCK and how Gary talks about how people weaponise luck as an excuse to do nothing... The people who use luck as an excuse often fail to realise is that "good luck" is in MOST cases something we create for ourselves.. Someone who is lucky enough to win the lottery first had to go and buy the ticket, a football player lucky enough to score a try that wins the premiership first had to put in the hard work training and getting themselves into the position to score the try, the person who is lucky enough to find that great item to flip from a garage sale and make a $$ first had to get off their backside and attend the garage sales.. Luck is very rarely the same as a free-ride down easy street...

I'm a fan of both Gary and Steve-O. Casual. But a fan. Never closely followed either. Never watched any long form content for either. That being said.. this podcast (from start to finish) is literally covering every single current aspect of my life. Down to the eyes. Every question I had surrounding everything I'm trying to accomplish is answered. Needed this.

I’m currently overweight. Have been on and off (mostly on) my whole life. My kids and their mom are eating right now and I chose to be the example and stay behind because I need to make a change. This podcast has been so valuable to me and I just wanted to say that I think I am going to throw on some GaryVee once or twice a day every time I skip a meal. It confirmed so many things that I had in my head and thought I was crazy, cause all my people around told me that I live in a weird world, and they wanted to go back in time and be stuck there. and I live in the future. Garry appreciate your views, and now i can send this episode to everyone and tell them , to listen to whats coming, cause i totally agree on all things future .

Whats crazy is that VR therapy isn’t even the future. The future is ai therapy. Someone is going to get a chatbot approved to handle therapy by training it on real therapy transcripts, and in the future everyone is just going to be paying like $20 a month to have unlimited access to a “therapist”. Any negative of removing the human aspect of therapy will be overshadowed by the fact that people can access therapy on demand and they don’t have to worry about being embarrassed or worry about their privacy or any other mental blocks that could prevent someone from actively participating in therapy.
No joke, this one tool (just the therapy ai) will likely make a larger impact on society than any other tool we have ever made. Especially because even people that don’t need therapy, could still benefit from therapy. I foresee it as a way to refocus your thoughts similar to meditation, and a way to perform introspection.

When I was a kid (2000-2011) used cars was def the jam I’m talking crazy sh*t. Once I sold a car twice and was able to find an identical exact same dark green Honda civic. Paid $1000 way out in the country, drove out and got it, and sold both for $3600. But then Carvana and Carmax etc shows up and ate every little bit out of that hustle. Today w $10k it’s pretty tough I say hold to $20/$30k, then move. Start a small biz. Maybe take some classes. Could always put the whole thing s&p and wait 10 years.. or maybe find things to rent out. I would say sell random stuff but all the markets are kinda slow rn (Jan2024) People are either broke af or just hodling lol. I think small boats could be a good play done right. Big boy toys like jet skis, cause things are about to change change. We’re in the middle of it 😅 if all I had was 10 I would no way touch it might need that just to survive summer 24

If it was low risk & a high garentee you'd get your money back , I'd say you did well cause of the peace of mind that comes with that "safety", if you run a play with high stakes for a probability of a greater return ,I personally feel like you'd be much more invested in that with your time ,focus and emotions . Would that be worth the trade ? If there was an other option that was low risk and a greater return than this one I'd pick that one haha

They don't really want to work and hustle hard how baby boomers or even millennials did. Perhaps social media is partly to blame where it paints this picture of everyone having this incredible and easy life so everyone is jealous and aims for that? Not sure exactly but I am sure that gen z is a pretty lazy and entitled generation. Growing up with all the technology simply changes the evolution of mankind. It's kinda wild. It's going to be super interesting the next generation of kids that are born with phones implanted in their brains. Our future is going to be insane lol

@@coastcity7029 for me, there's a drastic decline in yard/estate sales during the cold months other than the stores. I find it a good time to stock up on items for the following years holiday items right after the holiday passes and the unsold stuff go on sale. I hit up the grocery stores and Walmart for holiday sales once each holiday has passed. This can help counter the low sales from the low yard/estate sales during the slow seasonm That's the only benefit the cold months have for me where I live. Looking forward to Spring.
