I was really ecstatic about redshift coming in cinema 4d and I can access it in cinema 4d but when I want to render, it does not work and shows following messages: license error, no device available. why does it do that?
Because U dont have a license and no supportef gpu maybe😂 ?

@@ACMEnable Id say vray wins visually now that 6 is available in c4d. It's a powerhouse.
What a shame it is that these wonderful tools are only for the super-rich. Incredibly ironic that a guy like Seth Worley started off as an Indie Filmmaker who'd promote initiative and ingenuity within the up-and-coming filmmaking community and aspiring VFX artists with his projects and tutorials, and now all the Red Giant software he created is only accessible to established, millionaire filmmakers because Maxon thinks their software is worth a ludicrous amount of money each month. It's certainly not worth the price-tag, not by a mile, one can replicate all of these effects in FREE software these days, and it even runs faster and is more customisable. Maybe half the existing price, MAYBE, but I imagine their profits must be huge compared to what the software can actually do and what it's used for, as well as development for an Adobe-only environment. Plus, After Effects is an embarrassing Dinosaur that crashes more than it works, so once you fork out the money for your Maxon plugins you'll be tied to the worst compositing program on the market in order to use it.
All these folks used to stand with the independent AND established filmmaking community, in unity. What a slap in the face.
$1000 a yr is not rich. Esp bc the only ones that do c4d are ppl who would be doing it professionally. If you are a hobbyist great, but there are a lot of free alternatives -some amazing like blender! -but this is for ppl looking to be professional.

You act like those tools were charged for in the past and free. Come on now.
Bs.. even a poor Student can affort 40€/Month for this 🤷♂️ or 140 for C4D + Redshift
