This chord progression is old, dating back to the 1600s. It's "Pachelbel's Canon in D." Great progression with lots of emotion.

The F sharp minor 7 at the 9 fret with the hammer on sounds familiarly like ‘long train running’ by Doobies.
This song follows the chord progression of cannon in D by pachelbel, as do many pop songs.

Edit: I Also started playing guitar because of this song. Although I did not start playing harmonica because of it, it was going to a Blues Traveller concert that my brother Did pick up the harmonica. I was not fortunate enough to make it to a concert before the passing of the late very great John Popper. I’m happy you did though. Rock in Peace, John!
