I'm so glad I found this series. For a while I've had the belief that my fascia was the source of a lot of my chronic pain. Now I'm beginning to learn about the ways my fascia has been taking care of me all my life, and I want to learn to take better care of my fascia!

Hi Kim, awwww I LOVE that you said you want to learn to take care of your fascia after learning how it has taken care of you! That attitude of reverence for yourself and your body is a true sign of innate self-healing taking place. 💛

It is a bad sign on humanity that this is only at 876 views. I am an Olympic athlete and have just discovered the incredible effects of fascia mobility, functionality and. Envoys interaction. This is ground breaking stuff. Thank you for your well thought out and informational videos! I look forward to continuing my journey into this field. I’m sure I will be watching a lot of your content!

Hello ! Gratz on your videos. I am a fascia stretch therapist in Montreal and my partner and I started our own practice. I love the fact that fascia has its own contractile cells. The whiplash image sum it up very neatly. Keep it up.

The connection between fascia and blood vessels, nerves and muscles.
I'm having issues with my left foot followed by my right toes followed by my left hand and wrist area turning colors like red and purple after standing or sitting in a way that my body doesn't like. I'm still working on a standing position that my body does like.
My main blood vessels coming and going are clear on the inside. The working belief I had was that if it is a restriction, then the restriction is coming from the outside due to tight muscles or nerves.
What I'm learning is that fascia might be a major contributor.
Going forward my steps are to tend to and release all of the fascia and learn to align and move my body as designed.
I want to learn to apply this to myself and to help others.

Hey, thanks for your thoughtful comment! It sounds like you're a "citizen scientist" like me, making theories and testing them :) That's the mindset it takes to work with others, so I hope you pursue that path. I will be teaching Kinetix on the channel soon (in addition to inside a paid membership). Kinetix is my method of body mapping that utilizes partner fascia release to assess all the systems that fascia touches (which are ALL systems of the body) to discover root causes of pain and dis-ease. It sounds to me like you may have something else going on besides restriction in the fascia surrounding the blood vessels (though it could just be that). The nervous system has a profound effect on blood circulation. Fear, anger, being stuck in chronic stress...these can all create different experiences in internal temperature, which is mostly a result of where blood is flowing (or not flowing).

This lesson could not of come at a better time for me! I had a bad fall while out hiking 3 weeks ago, my cuts and bruises have healed, but I have this pain in the front of my right shoulder that will not go away. I have been so focused on my shoulder, but after your lesson I hear i should be working on my chest/front area. It makes sense as to how you described a whiplash accident and how your body braces to protect yourself. I feel backwards and landed on my arm/ elbow and right hip, I did not think my shoulder took impact but my chest braced to protect me. I will give this a try and hopefully resolve this problem. Thanks again!

I am retired 3 years. Horribly sedentary. My back shoulders wrist & hands hurt so much. I believe I need to foam roll & la cross ball my back for relief. Per your videos

My it band gets very tied down. I love to rub oil on it and use a spoon to break down the fascial attachments and get blood moving. I then apply several cups (cupping) and gently shake the cups while they are attached to the it band, which moves the entire area.

Glad you enjoy the content! I'd love to provide photos or videos, sadly there are very few of fascia that aren't copyrighted. Most photos and videos of fascia are really expensive to license. I wish it wasn't so!
